Gus is the greatest!
He was the first to wish me happy birthday, and he worked tirelessly to cheer me up even though he barely knew me. And he shares yummies. I have a bunch of treats buried in the bottom of the laundry hamper just for gus.
(he *s* awfully handsome...in that rugged way...if I were years younger and had all three legs.....

I am really a shy dog, but once you get to know me, I will be your best friend. My Mommy fostered me, then when she saw I was gentle with the kitties she kept me. 3 of the kitties are really nice...but there is this orange one in the house that always beats me up. I am afraid of him.... When I was a puppy he would steal my food, so I stay away from him. But overall I like the kitties and most doggy friends unless they are mean to me or jump on my face a lot or act all macho or are threatening to Mommy....then I get all bristly. I am part Shar Pei and can get kinda defensive if she is threatened, I protect her and my kitty friends from all evil doers oh and squirrels. NO squirrels will enter here! I will get them ALL!
