Guy is a true visionary. Everytime I talk with him I feel like he offers me some thoughtful new way to make things happen. Carrie and I had a nice little alfresco breakfast with him the other day and came away with all these ingenious new ideas about how to promote Carrie's upcoming CD release. Better than all that though, he shared with us his closely guarded secret about where to get the best cup of java in all of North America. Sorry Guy. I hope I didn't let the cat out of the bag. Now everybody's gonna wanna know.

In addition to being a superb investor, Guy takes after his hero Warren Buffett in another way: he is a patient and earnest teacher. I have learned a lot about what "value" really means by reading Guy's writing and corresponding with him.
