Char,
Beautiful, wonderful Nymph that you are. Great teacher and friend. You started me in the SCA and continued to teach me with your unique belly-dance skills. I can plainly remember our first class with Eileen and our first "get together" at your house. Your essence is pure and natural. One with the earth and what little surprises it has to offer us. My Aunt in life, my sister in shimmy, my mentor in so much. You are someone I hold in high regard, and respect. A true non-conformist, seeking out moves that "at the time" no one was doing or accomplishing and continuing to perfect them now. I often thought that you deserved more acknowledgement than you were given. But I ALWAYS looked up to you, for many things. Showing me how to beat my own drum, in every sense, I so adore you and I'm proud to say that I know and have danced with you!
You should bottle your self-confidence, we all know how far you've gone in life and you never hesitated to follow yourself.
You are patient, unless us 2 Taurus’s bumped heads... LOL, and precise and an excellent teacher even to one bull-headed gal... :)
Anyone that has the opportunity to learn from you will have their life touched in so many countless ways.

Perizad is an amazing, beautiful, spiritual dancer and I am so proud to say that she was my teacher and mentor. To this day, despite the many other classes and workshops I have taken, I still continue to dance, teach, and feel tribal style belly dance in the deep, communal, spiritual way she expressed it to me.
Not only is she an incredible dancer, but she is an amazing drummer, as well as a poet and writer, even being published in the infamous Tribal bible. She is also the loving parent of many animals, wonderful companion to her beloved Robbie, and a kindred spirit to all of God's creatures and respector of the earth.
Charlene, I love you and I miss you, and I know that even though distance keeps us from dancing together side by side, we are still moving as one by the fire with all of sisters in dance.
