My Testimonials

September 28, 2005
Hazy exemplifies so much of what is good in men. Trustworthy, capable, smart, kind, generous and handsome. I lucked into meeting the man on the playa by setting up my camp next to his and then being pulled into the vortex of his dome and friends that first year. We've camped together, built the dome together, and shared glowsticks. Now, I'm his matchmaker, and hopefully friend for life. Not only is Hazy amazy, but he travels in good good company.

fly to the north east and go north past the end of the paved road (managing to avoid crocodiles, deadly jellyfish and cassowaries along the way):

Then south to the Whitsunday Islands off the east coast... read more

It is a little known fact, but I ended up minoring in "aesthetics" in college. I had to have a minor concentration outside the physical sciences where my major concentration was physics. I managed to convince someone that all the photography and philosophy courses satisfied this requirement. One of those philosophy courses was actually called "aesthetics" and I remember reading essays about the question of "what is art?" Some of those essays talked about the importance of context in deter... read more
