I swear this man should make bedtime story tapes, because of his soothing voice. His sense of humor and his kindness give a breath of fresh air to this dank dark hole of a town. Thanks for all that you do.

I absolutely adore Hal, EVEN THOUGH he's listed among the Tribe 25!!
That's how wonderful he is. June 2, 2005
I was 15 when I met Hal - he and Puzzling took me to breakfast after their radio show. I have no idea what I was doing out at 2am on a Thursday - but I knew I could go to the Church of the Subgenius and be ministered to like a victorian beggar. Since then I have had the pleasure of his friendship - but I haven't seen him nearly enough in the last few years. When you get to know him - you realize that he's the only person who the word "Renaissance" could possibly apply to. He's a brilliant scholar, wordsmith, orator, and artist. Hal is a national treasure.

Hal Robins is amazing & wonderful, a magnificent human being, in ways that I'm not VERBALLY acrobatic or imaginative enough to describe properly. He's
fascinating, brilliant and so very kind and good. This exceptional man should and MUST be loved greatly, and deserves to be admired by ALL, should be adored by the masses AND the elite, and ought to be very, very, VERY well paid, to boot. This silly world we live in is greatly enriched by the existence of Harry S. Robins, and he should be declared a national treasure, or at least a popular local phenomenon (which, in fact, he is.) Hal Robins ROCKS, y'all. March 18, 2004
Harry S. Robins is one of the most inspirational creatures I've ever been blessed to know.Astounding in his genius, he can draw anyone under the table and certainly humble the most astute intellectual.A man of great compassion and complexity,he is a true gem in this world of rubble.I am greatly honored to have worked with him and to be one of his friends.I love you, Hal.
