LA: extra ticket to Yellowface Sat May 19 6-10PM Content: I will be down in LA this Saturday May 19 to see David Henry Hwang's play, "Yellowface" at the Mark Taper Forum. I have an extra ticket, $60. It includes a special pre-show dinner reception with Hwang, presented by the Stanford Alumni Association. I saw previews of the play in January at Stanford. If anyone wants to go with me and use my extra ticket, please let me know. My grandmother passed away the Thursday before the Memorial Day weekend, and today my brother called to tell me that my mother has been depressed and has not eaten for 3 days. I called her to beg and plead, but being on the opposite coast makes it difficult to judge my efficacy. My grandmother was 97 and my mother is 69. My father and mother are retired. I'd appreciate any advice. I am at a loss as to what to do. -H?o
