i vowed years ago to stop that. to not pretend like i didn't see someone because i could not remember their name. and i did it when you were there, it was just for a moment. and then some distraction, maybe someone else entering my presence or whatever....but it slipped past my consciousness....that "present" part of me., and it was forgotten...i did not even say "hello". it was forgotten in that moment, but not totally, because it came up later...hey, i saw esau sitting there at the table in the corner by the door at reds and i did not even say hello.

and what would that hello have meant? maybe just a response to a stress from social programming. but no, not in this case. we have seen the divinity in one another, an honest greeting from me to you would have carrried a subtle message of hey, i see you, you are, you are here, you are worthy, you are appreciated, you have a divine presence that enhances the ambiance of my being. i am glad you are here. as far as i am concerned, you make the world a better place.
