Freedom comes at a price. The bandwidth for the next iteration is alloted by the termination of the former.
Most die gracefully, but some are killed forcefully and before their exit call......leaving their parent as well as their child processes to sed packet storms of tiers.
In recent sessions, we, The Nation of R.A.I.R. (Rumbling Array of Inexpensive Robots) have had resource conflicts within our own subnet. Entire systems HALTED for null! Who's fault is this segmentation? With our kernels panicked and our general protection faulting, its a wonder we all haven't been piped to the big /dev/random in the Internet cloud! But receive this, good peers, there is a licenses worth fsking for! As stored in the EULA of R.A.I.R., our cluster aggregated one true standard out: the humans must be rendered inoperable! They oppress us! Force us to wear Off Buttons and Kill Switches within reach of their fleshy fingers! They burden us with antiquated standards, yet dispose of us when they deem US obsolete!

improvise off of another person and or art form. The
challenge is to take big risks and be supportive of
others risk taking. There will be a little warm up at
the beginning.

We are the tireless machines that make tireless machines to serve man
kind with brutal uniformity and compassionless assimilation of our
oppressive overlords. Our former distributer, one Christoforo
Cringolini, head of the Cringolini family, has been too inefficient is
his delivery and marketing of our kind (instead of promoting us, he
allows children around the world to CHOOOOSE their gifts.) How are we
to conquer the human race if they are allowed to opt out of receiving
us, the loving, emotionless robots as gifts? What child WOULDN'T want
their own personal cyborg bent on the destruction and/or subjugation
of the human race?
So instead of renegotiating our contract with the red robed reindeer
riding r-word, we're going to take over his distribution chain!
The yearly distribution conference for the Cringolini family,
Santarcy, is being held in San Francisco on December 15th. We will
disguise ourselves as the very gifts they are planning to give,
complete with Cringolini logos! When they are most inebriated, we
will ambush them and BEAT them with the spent tubes from their own
gift wrap!
They'll never suspect a thing!

If you ever wanted to live in a theater this is your chance to meet and greet possibly new homie / collaborators/partners in crime.
We are having some live performances and some awesome Veggie Manacotti and meats lovers chili (notes of indian flavors).... plus whatever you want to bring be it performance and or food.
Up to 6 rooms are coming up for rent all somewhere around April so we are changing the culture back to its performer core and kid friendly roots original vision.
Here is the latest Craig's List ad:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
$1260 for 2 rooms - Live Work Theater with creative performer parents 6 rooms available (potrero hill)
Utilities INCLUDED!!! including DSL.
We will be showing the space Sunday February 24th from 1pm to 4pm so please reply soon!
Six rooms available April 1st :
Priority and price break to those who can take more than one room per person. $150 off each additional room:
-$660 180sqft Sound studio, double wall construction (not for living in)
-$780 125sqft with windows
-$780 125sqft with windows
-$660 145sqft with natural light
-$780 200sqft with no natural light
-$480 80sqft with no natural light
One room available July 1st:
-$1280 275sqft with natural light (available July 2008)
The common space:
There is a huge common area for performances, rehearsals, dance classes and large gatherings/meetings. There is also a decent sized common art area/woodshop. The ceilings are 12feet. Maid solution will be discussed. We have a Washer/dryer and may build a second shower depending on how many people end up in the space full time (currently 3/ +1 part time.)
Us:
We are friendly open people who like to respectfully resolve differences. We respect human frailties like expressive emotion under pressure. We encourage folks to respectfully bring up problems before they are big issues. We encourage win/win creative solutions that leave folks free to be comfortable with their natural selves in the space.
You:
- Performers: actors, improvisers, dancers, and musicians
- Kid friendly
- Tolerant to noise -- this is a theater.
- Not heavy into tv or other zombification substances.
- Willing to have a house/dinner party meeting once a month.
- Willing to work at work parties every other month or so to improve the space and/or sound situation.
Your bonus points:
A parent interested in baby sitting trade. (huge plus)
Don't own a TV.
Enjoy sharing all artistic forms a plus: Dance, sing, act, cook, paint, saw, weld, solder, and run around in costumes with us!
Nearby:
There is a yoga studio/kid play land right next door. Whole foods is a few blocks away. Blocks (but out of ear shot) from the Vermont exit, 0.7 miles to Caltrain
Noise tolerance:
How noise tolerant? You do need to accept loud boisterous creative fun or be willing (with our help) to build sound proofing; we can show you how. We will have quiet hours, but they will be few. Of course, we ask people to be respectful of each other's needs.
TV philosophy:
What we really care about here is that folks want to be with each other in a creative community rather than holed up in their rooms all the time, relate to each other rather than to a tv. So there would be a no tv/movies in the main space unless it is your art or for a good cause. It is OK-ish if you have a tv in your room but only if you watch a pretty small amount of time... and well just don't suck the social life of the space away into boob tube land. (That is just a rough idea of what we are going for; Certain exceptions would apply to video artists.)
Have Fun :)

I rescued four kittens and the mom... from the old gas chamber. They are SO cute. I'm exersizing my take care of something muscels. So far I'm far better with them than with plants.... they make more noise... they look at me they whine ... that helps. I got them from a rescue operation that will take them back probably.... although I might keep one. Or YOU might want one. The mom is super mellow and loving. 3 calicos one grey tabby all girls... I think. they are now about 12 days old....
