Prop 8 sucks

   Sat, October 25, 2008 - 5:29 PM

I'm really disturbed by supporters of Prop 8. Right wing christian haters. How do you defend marriage by stopping people from getting married? I see supporters here in Chico when I go to the supermarket. They have signs that say that Prop 8 = free speech. What? How? They also claim it is religious freedom. How is it freedom to tell other people what they can do?

I hope it goes down to defeat.

Forgive me, peaceful people...
I accosted one... scared him so bad he went back to his truck. I thought he might be
going for a gun or to call the cops, so I hightailed it out of there. I still feel embarrassed.
I really didn't have to say much. It was more my tone. Took less than a minute for him to call me crazy.

Success!!

Why don't these people just convert to Islam and elect an Imam?
I mean seriously! Freedom isn't free, you have to wring some turkey's neck to get it!

This shit is seriously sick:

I live in the Boston area, but used to live in SF Bay area for 27 years...
I had CNN on to hear headlines and saw a piece on Prop 8 and the backlash, they had Mark Leno on saying that these people (proponents of Prop 8) are abusing children by using the video showing them in attendance of the Lesbian wedding. They took the clip and put it on National TV to make a point for their own agenda, without informing their parents or getting permission.

The parents let the children attend the wedding, so obviously they do not support Prop 8 and do not want their kids in the nasty Prop 8 ad. But since the wedding and the film was "news" and is in the public domain, the jerks get to continue. That is despicable, not to mention their whole agenda implies that gay people marrying pose a threat to heterosexual marriages, which is absurd and irrational. Obviously breeding does not ensure intelligence.

Good news:

California’s top educator calls Prop. 8 commercials “despicable”
The California Teachers Association Opposes Prop. 8
Prop. 8 has nothing to do with schools.
Prop. 8 takes away fundamental rights.

I did it again last night...
I'm working in Lancaster, California. I was going to buy some groceries for the week. They were on all four corners
of the intersection. I argued with a soccer mom for 10 minutes. Which is to say I broadcasted my opinion in the
same manner they do. They care nothing for the separation of church and state. Christians believe in the purposefulness
of Armageddon. They are extremely greedy. They barely know their own 'holy book'... I've read more of it than most of them.
Also, most religious people use scripture to back up their own opinions, rather than investigating as much of it they can
to get a sense of what it means, historically. Christians prefer the Ten Commandments over Christ's Beatitudes.
They must think they are Jews or something. Christ is too peaceful. They want to kill for Jesus, and this has gone on
for thousands of years now. "Be fruitful and multiply" was for the Jews. They want to fuck and make babies,
but they want to destroy the world (despite being told in Genesis that they must take care of the world), cry out
to the angels to Rapture(TM) them, and take them to another world so they can do the same thing ALL OVER AGAIN!!
They no more want peace than other zealots and extremists. I say they are worthless. I say God should disown them.
