Temporarily Car-less (blog entry) Well, we're without a car for a little bit. Scott was in a minor accident today and we have to get the 2 passenger side doors fixed. Hopefully it will be done by Tuesday or so!

about me
I'm a bookworm; my interests are fairly geeky but I like intelligent and/or silly talk on just about any subject. I'm very involved in my U.U. Church, on the membership committee and as a Youth Group advisor with my husband. I love spending time with my family and my friends! I can be shy sometimes but if I feel comfortable in a situation I tend to talk a LOT. I love being able to hang out with people and just be silly and spontaneous. I have a baby who as of this writing is 9 mths old- check out my photo album! (By the way, my main photo is not me, it's Sylvia Plath- but if you made that mistake I love you forever! *chuckle*)

Steve and I are leaving for New York City tomorrow morning. We'll be back on Sunday night (late). I'm so excited, we have tickets to see Spamalot and we're staying at the Waldorf Astoria! We're going to have a BIG sushi dinner too before the show.
It's too bad that we don't have time to see very much but it should be a nice time anyway! Have a good weekend everybody.

Whew!! That was a long drive! I had so much fun this weekend, though. It was great to hang out with Brian and Amber. We had so much good food! Yay homemade pasta!
Eowyn was very good most of the time, although she did tear up Brian's living room quite well when we weren't looking.
It's nice to be home. It's much hotter and messier here, but my allergies are better (my lip was all swollen when we left, now it's pretty much back to normal). And I'll enjoy a few days of routine before I leave again on Saturday for NYC with Steve.

There are some people out there with whom you just click immediately with- you get along with them, laugh about the same things, get gooey-eyed about the same things, and you can just be yourself with them. Ally is definitely that person for me. She's a totally awesome person and when she laughs, it's infectious! :)

I love Ally like a sister! hey wait she is my sister! he he he...
Ally is intelligent, unusually interesting (she always has something cool planned), speaking of organized, she is the most organized person I know! (I have given up calling FEMA about my house of chaos, instead Ally gave me the flylady!)( I don't think we could fit a bulldozer into the kids' rooms anyways!) she is a great mom and one of my dearest friends... and besides...no one does the Scrat dance like her! oh! how can I not add the best part? she makes great babies! although her stir fry is a pretty close 2nd in creations! I love her dearly and although sometimes we really do act catty (like sisters do), my world woudl be incomplete without her and Scott & Wynnie...(ok, and diesel, jack, macy & new kitty too!)

The simple question presents itself at the top of this page. "How do you feel about Ally?" As I sat down to write this, I realized that if one simple webpage could encompass the feelings and pure emotion of how I feel when I see her, or think about her, or interact with her, in any way -- it had better be patented, or I'm going to steal it and make a hell of alot of money :P She's really one of the greatest people to ever have entered my life. She's been my shoulder when I want to cry, my sounding board when I want to vent, and my snuggle-kitty when I want to love. And most of all, she loves and cares for me no matter where we are...together in her living room watching anime, or 250 miles apart sitting at our computers blasting and smiting things in the world of Norrath. I don't know what I'd do without her! Truly someone I care for and love very much, mo matter where, no matter when, no matter what. =)

I don’t really know what to say about Ally. She is one of my very best friends and has been for several years now. I love her very much, she’s sweet and protective and has always been there when I needed someone to rant at or cry on or laugh with.
The time I spent in Buffalo was a lot of fun and I want to come back again soonish.

Ally is a great person to know because she's very open with herself, and very accepting of other people. She is unlike anybody I know, on or offline, she's smart, snuggly and LITERATE OMFG taht's teh best part eva! LOLZ it r0xx0rz!!11!!!11. And let's not forget, she has a good sense of humor. ; ) Ally makes me want to read Sylvia Plath - haven't followed up on that, but damnit I'm going to! ^_^; - In general, Ally promotes me being myself, but somehow at the same time she makes me want to better myself - it's amazing! Plus, she picked neat names for her kid, and you know she will be a cool mom to teenage-Eowyn...

What I'm really trying to say with all of this is I love Ally and you can be sure when I get to NY I will give her lots of hugs, snugs, and love... : D
