These last few days have blasted open my heart chakra more than I ever could have imagined possible. I feel it exploding from my chest, creeping up my throat and welling out my eyes. It is as if I have been awaken by a psychotropic substance and I am engaging life with brand new feelers freshly doused with morning dew.
I am particularly grateful to our midwives, Susan and Amy, for the graceful and gentle way they helped us to bring this divine new presence into our lives. Their wisdom and patience in the peacefulness of our home is truly what allowed us to surrender to this magnificent process.
