( miscellaneous » music reviews ) "In These Parts" THese boys put a smile on your face that just will not fade! This music can only be described as Higher Altitude American Bluegrass. This ain't your Grandpas bluegrass!! It isn't like anything out there...This is HOT HOT HOT and HIP!!

Pop's Blue Moon on the hill in St Louis hosted the Dogtown Allstars on Saturday night. What a treat! these guys can really lay down the tunes. First time I have heard them and I will definately make it out again to have a listen.

I'm not real into long drum solos, but this guy was pretty amazing, as was the piano/organ player, the bass player and the lead guitar player.

I have been getting some painting done in anticipation of the arival of friend. As you know, Missy Baron encountered an obsticle along the way. I decided this morning to keep moving ahead as if she was still going to be here. She wuld want it that way...
