Heather Salmon (aka Feather) considers herself to be a Spiritual Midwife to the New Environmentally Sustainable, Socially Just and Spiritually Fulfilled World. She is an ordained Essene High Priestess and certified in numerous healing arts including Reflexology, Hypnotherapy, Transpersonal Healing, Sound Healing, Reiki, Crystal Healing and Hawaiian Huna and has over 27 years experience in applied regenerative healing practices. Born in Toronto, Canada and of Jamacian and Celtic decent, Heather was raised by Canada's first modern day black surgeon/chief of surgery/president of medical staff, Dr. J. Douglas Salmon and her mother, Beverley N. Salmon was a civil rights leader, politician, Human Rights Commissioner as well as a leader and a shaper of Toronto's diverse rich multicultural community. Heather (44) currently resides at Harbin Hot Springs (www.Harbin.org) which is an intentional community and retreat center with about 200 residents in Northern California and is also an active global facilitator for the Pachamama Alliance's "Awakening the Dreamer Symposium." She has also recently been appointed as official Media Spokesperson for the global humanitarian organization Children of the Sun (www.ChildrenOfTheSun.tv) who are dedicated to the upliftment of consciousness through various projects including the Planetary Grid Transmission. In addition Heather facilitates two monthly gatherings at Harbin Hot Springs: a monthly Abundance League gathering and a monthly New Moon Sound and Energy Ceremony for World Peace and Self Empowerment in the Heart Consciousness Church Temple. She also has an extensive and rich background in being an agent of change from being a performer to a producer including having been an international events producer for the NBA, IIAF World Indoor Track & Field Championships as well as Canada's Grey Cup. She has also been a professional print and runway model and Hollywood actress and has made dozens and dozens of television appearances. Solomon's daughter

While surfing within tribe I had bumped into an article that Heather had written, clearly there was great insight in her writings so we became tribe friends. Always enjoying her writing Every now and then commenting and thanking her for her contribution. Like many of us, we make virtual friends not really expecting to meet them in person but always having that elusive hope.

To my amazement there in the desert in same camp as I was camped, was Heather, all the beautiful words that I had read for months I now saw their embodiment in a blending of brilliance and beauty, that gave honor to the sacredness of life. The grace and dignity that this woman carries is truly inspiring she wears ancient nobility and holds inwards strength with pure matriarchal grace and wisdom.

There is an old legend about King Solomon and the Queen of Ethiopia, that their loved surpassed all other loves, and so the Song of Solomon became an eternal testament of that love, and that in each age that love was so great it would produce an offspring, so that the world could see a reflection of this love and wisdom blended from that great union.

I've returned from from this weeklong camp in the desert knowing that this legend is true for I have truly met,
the daughter of Solomon .

"The Great Purification"

On March 7, 2000 Robert Morning Sky talked about the Hopi tradition of the "Great Purification."

"The final stage, called "The Great Day of Purification," has been described as a "Mystery Egg" in which the forces of the swastika and the Sun plus a third force symbolized by the color red culminate either in total rebirth or total annihilation, we don't know which. But the choice is yours--war and natural catastrophe may be involved. The degree of violence will be determined by the degree of inequity caused among the peoples of the world and in the balance of nature. In this crisis rich and poor will be forced to struggle as equals in order to survive.

"The reality that it will be very violent is now almost taken for granted among Traditional Hopi, but man still may lessen the violence by correcting his treatment of nature and fellow man. Ancient spiritually-based communities, such as the Hopi, must especially be preserved and not forced to abandon their wise way of life and the natural resources they have vowed to protect.

"The man made system now destroying the Hopi is deeply involved in similar violations throughout the world. The devastating reversal predicted is part of the natural order. If those who thrive from that system, its money and its laws can manage to stop destroying the Hopi, then many may be able to survive the Day of Purification and enter a new age of peace. But if no one is left to continue the Hopi way, the hope for such an age is in vain.

"How can there be peace? Nowhere is there peace, not even within the Hopi peaceful society. Every nation on earth, from people in high places down to the lowest cast, are not at peace. How can peace be accomplished when weapons are made to kill? How can there be peace if people hate, not love? Perhaps the only alternative is now Purification.

"Since mankind has lost peace with one another through the conflict because of the new ways, the Great Spirit, and the Great Creator has punished the people in many ways. Through all of this there was always a small group who survived to keep the original ways of life alive. This small group are those who adhere to the laws of the Creator, who keep the spiritual path open, out from the circle of evil. According to our knowledge we are not quite out of the circle.

"The men with ambitious minds will decrease, while the people of good hearts, who live in harmony with the earth, will increase until the earth is rid of evil. If the Hopi are right this will be accomplished and the earth will bloom again. The spiritual door is open, why not join the righteous people."

THE PURIFICATION
The famous Hopi Prophecy Rock clearly depicts two paths:

* A "two-hearted path," with three individuals upon it. A two-hearted person is one who thinks with his head rather than his heart. Modern Man is out of balance because he lives in a left brain dominated society, leading to imbalance and conflict, and ultimately to the destruction of those on it.

* A "one-hearted path," or one that is in balance and harmony with the universe.

The Rock prophecy shows a conjunction where the two-hearted people have a choice of choosing to start thinking with their hearts or continue to thin with their heads only. If they choose the latter, it will lead to self-destruction, symbolized by the lightening strike from a cloud. If people chose to think with their hearts, they will return to the one-hearted path and their own survival.

The Rock shows three half-circles that represent three world-shakings, as the Source strives to remind us of how we are all related. The first shaking occurs when man tosses bugs into the air (airplanes, first used in World War I). The second world-shaking occurs when man uses the Hopi migration symbol in war (swastika adopted by Hitler in World War II). The third shaking will be recognized by a red cover or cloak, which could point to Communist China. Hopi prophecy also says that the signs of the third shaking willbe:

- The trees die (acid rain or destruction of the rainforest)
- Man builds a house in the sky (space stations)
- Cold places become hot, and hot places will become cold (erratic weather)
- Lands sink into the ocean, and lands will raise out of the sea
- The blue Star Kachina appears

Only by undergoing the Hopi process of Purification can we set foot on the Return Path to the One-hearted Path, and just hope that we haven't gone past that point. Purification involves a number of elements:

1. Repentance, or rethinking, of the Two-hearted Way of Life. This involves commitment, deep knowing that we are all One, acceptance of personal power to create change, and following our inner guidance. It is good to do this in groups, because it reminds us that the who is greater than the sum of the parts. Also, as individuals, we are so rooted in our Two-hearted ways that we need others to help point them out to us. Once we as a group have identified and committed to a One-hearted vision, we can begin to live it, first within the group, then increasingly in the outer Two-hearted world. Then like-minded groups may join together to form "villages," ready for when the Two-hearted Path Collapses in ruins.

2. Sovereignty, or self-respect, and respect for the sovereignty of others. It is also about taking responsibility for our creations and good stewardship for whatever is in our sphere of influence. For example, the Fifth World view of the planet is as a partner to be nurtured rather than a resource to be consumed and discarded. Also, wealth and abundance will not be hoarded by those whose lands produce it, but will be shared equitably. Finally, any decision about stewardship will never by short-term but will consider the impact on future generations.

3. Truthfulness. Confusion over "what should be" versus "what is" separates us from the realities of life. We look for quick fixes, Hollywood endings and the latest fads rather than "walking the talk" and "doing the work." One group may import "whatever works" from another group and impose it on themselves, but disharmony may result. This leads to strife, conflict, and even war. Other cultures become too complex and collapse under their own weight, thrusting the people into anarchy until new ways are found. This is the inevitable outcome of the Two-hearted Path, and we are seeing its effects now as fewer and fewer Americans believe that government is "by the people for the people." Our lives float between hope and fear, unrooted in "what is." From the moment of our birth, we are indoctrinated into membership of our culture, with prison or asylum awaiting dissenters. We leave school, trained to become "another brick in the wall," mindlessly perpetuating the Two-hearted Path. The Hopi language has no equivalent of, "I'm busy," or "I'm sorry." Busy-ness and apology are not part of the One-hearted Path; and will not carry us through the collapse of the Fourth World and the emergence into the Fifth.

"Hothooka Caunotka "Sign Of Purification"

Saugh-he, a sign of purification has been sent to the people, that the Morning Star will start to be seen right before the night and light dances together. This is clear to the people of understanding and balance. This message of purification from Creator is speaking that end times are near, as people know it.

In the days that follow, people will look at the sky nation and witness and feel the return of two brothers that helped create Earth Mother in the birthing time.

One brother who has the care of the top of Earth Mother and his Brother who has the care for the bottom of Earth Mother. In these days the Morning Star will come and be with the two brothers and they will start to return Earth Mother to her natural rotation.

This has been shown for ages in many Petroglyphs within the Mayan and Egyptian pyramids and the carving and inscription on many rocks and bones.

Earth Mother has been manipulated and characterized throughout the ages by people that are not so suggestive of doing good for Earth Mother and Creators creations.

The two brothers will work and walk with the Hothooka. The Hothooka Caunotka as my ancestors spoke of them, will dance with the wind and find the ones that remember the original teachings of the old ways. The Hothooka Caunotka walks strong with Earth Mother's purification dance.

The return of the Morning Star and Hothooka Caunotka, is a message to all that a new day and new way of life on Earth Mother is here and the purification has started.

Some changes will begin when the feeling of fire burn within the people. Their fires will burn with desires and conflicts if they don't remember the original old ways of teachings.

With this time of purification on Earth Mother, all life as humans have known will be changed. There will be messages and messengers that will precede the Morning Star dance. These feelings and messages are for those on Earth Mother who understand the old ways and the teachings of Creator and Earth Mother.

The feelings and messages will be found in the rocks within their sacred grains and the waters. Creator will issue a great light with the Hothooka Caunotka dance. Things will change in their manner of being. Every living thing will be offered the opportunity to change from the largest to the smallest of creation.

Those that have returned to the old ways that understand the original teachings, they live and walk in a natural way; will not be harmed by the coming of the Morning Star and Hothooka Caunotka dance. They will survive and work together to purify and help each other re-build Earth Mother. In the ancient teachings of the old ways will they have the ability to understand these messages to be given from Creator and Earth Mother.

It is important to understand that these messages will be found in and on every living thing, all will carry these messages.

All life forms receives these feelings and messages from the Creator and Hothooka Caunotka; those that walk, fly, swim, crawl or stand.

The appearance of the Hothooka Caunotka will be the opportunity for all to change their ways; everything that will be experience will be a matter of their choice.

Many will appear to have lost their souls in these times. So intense will the nature of the changes be that those who are weak in spiritual understanding will not maintain their balance of thinking, for their walk was nothing without faith.

People will disappear, for they were only hollow vessels for the darkness to use. Things will be so dark and out of balance in the cities, that many will choose to leave.

Only those who return to the values of the teachings of the old ways will be able to find peace of mind and balance during this purification.

It will be a hard time for people with children; they will be avoided deliberately and in some manner treated with force. Many of the children in these times will act and be un-natural. Some will be from the star nation. Some from past worlds, some will be created by people, in an un-natural manner and will have no soul.

Many of people in this time will be empty in faith, they will have no life force in their eyes or balance or their actions.

As the time gets closer to the purification, there will be those who walk as ghosts through the cities and canyons they have constructed in their self-made mountains.

Those that walk through these places will be very heavy in their walk; it will appear almost painful as they take each step. These are disconnected souls from their faith, Creator and Earth Mother's understanding.

After the arrival of the Hothooka Caunotka, they will begin to vanish before your eyes like smoke from the coals of a fire. Others will have great deformities, both in the mind and on their bodies; because the fake gateways that protected these people will be opened, there will be much confusion between sexes and children and the adults.

Life will get and be very perverted and there will be little social order in these times. Many will ask for their misery to end and still others will appear as if untouched by what is occurring. The ones who remember the old ways of teachings and reconnected their souls and faith are those who remember who their mother and father are.

The Hothooka Caunotka will show people many signs in the sky nation. In this way people will know that Creator is not a dream. Even the people who do not feel their connection to faith will see the faces of the Grandfather across the sky nation.

Many things will begin to occur with people that will not make sense, for reality will be shifting in and out of their dream time. There will be many paths to the lower world that will open at this time. Things long forgotten will come back to remind people of the past creations. All living and forgotten things want to be present for the great day of purification when the forever cycle of Earth Mother starts.

The People will receive many warnings allowing them to change their paths from below the Earth Mother as well as above. Then one morning in a moment, the purification will awaken. Many things will then begin to happen that people want to be sure of their exact nature; for much of what reality was, will not be seen in the now, it will be gone.

There will be many different animals on Earth Mother in these days of the Hothooka Caunotka dance, some that have never been seen before. The nature of humans will appear strange in these times. The people will walk between worlds and they will house many spirits even within their bodies. After a time people will walk with the Hothooka Caunotka from the top and bottom of Earth Mother and start to rebuild, but not until the Hothooka Caunotka has left their mark on Earth Mother.

Nothing living will go untouched. The way through this time can be found in your heart and reuniting with your soul. Getting simple and returning to living with and on Earth Mother in harmony with all creations. Remember, people are the caretakers of Earth Mother and the fire keepers of our own faith and soul.

The Grandmother's hand on my arm halts my imaginings. We stand at the edge of a secluded clearing, rimmed with tall pines.

In the center is a large log house, and around it women--many women--move through the light of Sister Sun and her shadows. Some walk in the clearing. Others cluster on the porch, talking quietly, or sit at the edge of the forest in meditation.

Not far from us, a woman who is combing another's hair leans to whisper, and their laughter rises into the soughing pines.

A great weaving is going on here, a deep bonding...

"This is the menstrual lodge," says the Grandmother. "When our power sign is with us we come here. It is a sacred time--a time for rest and meditation. No one is allowed to disturb our harmony. No warrior may even cross our path. In the menstrual lodge many things are known, many plans are made..."

Since life follows the cycles of the Earth and the Moon, activities of our Ancient Ancestors also closely followed the cycles of the Earth and Moon. The women all cycled together, ovulating at the full Moon and bleeding at the new Moon.

When women started to bleed, they would leave their homes and families to go to the sacred introspective space of the Bleeding Lodge. The Lodge was honored and respected by the entire community, for the dreams and visions of the bleeding women brought vital survival information such as planting and healing knowledge and guidance on community relations. When there were questions that needed to be answered, the women would go to the Lodge and ask the Ancestors. All questions were always answered by the Ancient Ancestors. The entire community benefited through the powerful gifts of the women's bleeding cycle.

Since our Ancient Grandmothers all bled together, many women shared the Womb Lodge at one time. Ceremonies to honor our womb cycles, celebrate the cycles of the Earth and Moon, and rites of passage were developed by these women from visions and dreams during their bleeding times in the Sacred Lodge. These traditions were passed down in the initiatory rites of the Blood Lodge from mother to daughter.

As our current culture has separated us so far from honoring the cycles of the Earth and Moon, these ancient women's rites have become almost forgotten. But, as we granddaughters of these ancient women dream during our bleeding cycles, fragments of their powerful honoring and healing ceremonies fill our spirits. We know that there is a wisdom within our wombs that is our birthright.

The Bleeding Lodge is when women come together to celebrate the ancient ceremonies of honoring our bleeding cycles, communicating with the ancestors, sharing our gifts and passing the women's wisdom on to our daughters (we are bearing less and less children between us as we attune to the burdens of human population in turning our focus to healing the Earth). The Lodge reminds us that we live within the cycles of the Earth and Moon. When we honor our wombs, we honor the Great Mother. Remembering and recreating these ancient ceremonies will bring right relation to all children of Earth. Bleeding Lodges will once again become respected women's places in our communities.

The dream will begin to unveil itself through strands woven from many women's dreams. The weaving created through gathering to share on the New and Full Moons and from the records kept will create a fuller tapestry, more easily understood and made real in the ordinary affairs of life. This is the ultimate action: making the dream of peace real in our everyday lives.

Grandmother's cycle and Mother's mind within us assist us with the task of coming again fully present into the world. At the Full Moon we are at our most powerfully attentive, aware and present for action in the world. From the womb of Buffalo Woman, we carry new creations to join with the light, and birth takes place.

As your moontime approaches, feel the openness and sensitivity increasing. Pay closer attention to where you allow yourself to be, and to the energy around you (for you imprint very deeply during this receptive time). Choose to immerse yourself in what you wish to receive, create and magnify through yourself. Turn toward beauty, peacefulness, song and vision for a radiant, harmonious life for your children and the children of seven generations. Refine the objects of your attention, until the blood comes and you retreat into the peaceful beauty and quiet of the Moon Lodge, leaving behind the everyday world for a few days.

The information received as the menses begins is the clearest human picture from within the womb of the Great Mystery, of the unknown and our future. Among our dreaming peoples, the most prophetic dreams and visions were brought to the people through the Moon Lodge. In other words, the most useful information that can come to us comes from each of us women who use our moon times well.

Conversely, for each of us who does not honor this time, much is lost, including the respect of others for our bleeding. Our call is to begin now to honor our moon times, to come together in small hoops (perhaps of 8 women) and create Moon Lodges-communal women's retreats and meditation rooms-for the beauty, for the quiet, for the transparent veil. Dedicating ourselves to the quest for vision that will guide us and our families at this time.
