A long time ago when the first sexy girl licked her fingers that had been in something very tasty and exclaimed "YUMMMY!", the word took form and gathered all the exquisite things in life unto itself. The spirit of Yummy has taken many forms over the ages but none quite so delectable as Heidi.

about me
I'm a new mom, so that's taking over my life in a good way for a while. I teach elementary school, so that takes up a lot of what's left. I plan to take over the world with a quiet revolution by doing the most radical act I know- living my life the way I want without fear or limits. Wanna join me?

I can be honest with Heidi both in word and emotion. I like that.

Heidi is cooler than a polar bear's toenails, naughtier than a Bangkok whorehouse, and an amazing baker/candy-maker. It's kind of like having a sexy female Willy Wonka around.

To claim- you are tribe, you are family, and I expect you to continue to be in my life no matter what. Some sort of ritualized agreement of continued correspondence. A mutual statement of finding the other worthy. I have found no such ceremony. Friends have wandered in and out. I moved around a lot as a kid, and a bit as an adult. Beautiful, colorful friends have added richness to my life. But so very few have stayed, "stuck" so to speak. The closest thing I've seen is a wedding, and by law, we're only allowed one of these at a time. I am grateful everyday that I used mine on my dear husband who is also my best friend. but still, what if you could marry your friends, so to speak? Who would still be in your life- how would you be different?
So, as far as real journaling goes, I went to Monterey to get a little quiet/alone time before the baby comes and chances like that disappear. When I opened my journal, I found that the last time I had written in it was one year ago, when I had gone away to Monterey for the weekend. For some reason, I guess I feel like I need perspective to be reflective. Monterey is a special place for me. It's one of my "recharge" places. Just going there, I plug in, and leave feeling refreshed, calm, prepared for whatever life has in store next. I'm not sure, it may be because I lived there for a few years as a kid and it feels always just familiar enough for comfort. Or maybe it's because it's just so very beautiful. Anyhoo- I'm back now...

So, I was driving IN THE SLOW LANE on 880, in heavy stop & go traffic, and I hear a honk. There's nothing I can be doing differently, but I notice there is a jerk tailgating me. Again, I look, is there something I should be doing differently? The only thing I can figure is he wants me to tailgate the person in front of me- I always try to leave 10 feet or so- especially in that kind of traffic. He honks again. I check again- is there merging or something that I'm not doing? Nope- he just wants me to go 12 mph instead of 10. He comes along side of me, and the next thing I know, something wet thuds and splashes inside my car. The asshole has thrown their full jamba juice at me and quickly changes lanes & takes off. The inside of my car and I are covered in sickly sticky sweet strawberry slush of some kind. I speed up to change lanes and come alongside them, quickly memorizing their license plate number. It's 5YWW759, by the way. A silver Lexus being driven by a young black guy with a young black girl laughing behind her sunglasses in the passenger seat.

I mean, What the fuck? What the hell makes behavior like THAT okay. What if it had hit me? What if I'd crashed? I don't even know what recourse I have. I did call the CHP, they came surprisingly quickly, and took a quick report. If they do a full incident report, then we both get copies, and suddenly they have my address, and if they're the type to throw smoothies when someone is being slow, I think, just maybe, they might be the vengeful type. Not that I'm not, the vengeful type that is. I'm getting pretty tired of having people underestimate me. Well, we'll see what happens next...

Plane of Existence: Limbo, "Plane of Ever-Changing Chaos". Description: An alien, anarchistic and unpredictable plane. Notable Inhabitants: Githzerai - human-like monks; Slaad - frog-like creatures. Examples of Chaotic-Neutrals (Ethically Chaotic, Morally Neutral) Barret Wallace (FFVII) Yuffie Kisaragi (FFVII) Tyler Durden Dr. Frankenstein Doctor Moreau Tarzan Peeves the Poltergeist Fred & George Weasly "Wild animals" The almost totally unpredictable non-conformist loner. Will stand by and watch the white knight battle the black knight without feeling compelled to take sides. Will keep their word if in their best interest May attack an unarmed foe May use poison May help those in need Prefers to work alone Responds poorly to higher authority Distrustful of organizations Self preservation is strong but will not go to the same extent as Neutral-Evils. They can generally be swayed easily. Chaotic Neutral "Pure Chaos" "Free Spirit" A chaotic neutral [person] follows his whims. He is an individualist first and last. He values his own liberty but doesn't strive to protect others' freedom. He avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions. A chaotic neutral [person] does not intentionally disrupt organizations as part of a campaign of anarchy. To do so, he would have to be motivated either by good (and a desire to liberate others), evil (and a desire to make others suffer), or be lawful neutral. A chaotic neutral [person] may be unpredictable, but his behavior is not totally random. He is not as likely to jump off a bridge as to cross it. Chaotic neutral is freedom from both society's restrictions and a do-gooder's zeal.
