Today we took Yaz to Do Dah Day www.dodahday.org (a festival devoted to raising money for local animal shelters). We had a great time and plan to go next year! We registered as "Fun Walkers" and joined the parade! Yaz had so much fun visiting with spectators, other dogs, and just being in a big crowd. Here is a pic of Henry, Samuel and Yaz just before we started.

about me
I earned the nick-name, The Helenator", from the gorgeous ladies of Gypsy Red Tribe (now The Ultra Hip Revue). Besides, that I am a Law Librarian who loves bellydance in all styles. Oh and I am also a *very* proud Soccer Step-Mom!

i too am mourning the loss of 6 feet under (no pun intended) but i always have to wait for dvds! so i have not seen the last episode! but the fact is i know that my fav show is done. they get rid of sex and the city then 6 feet under now what sapranos? oh wait they are getting rid of that too! Well what can I say about Helen! She is a beautiful and strong woman and we don't call her the Helenator for nothing! She is our Center...our Rock and not only that...she is a wonderful friend, motivated dancer, and loyal and inspired student and I really have enjoyed getting to know her over the last couple of years! I can always count on her good advice, level head and sense of humor!

Helen is such an asset to our group! She's always upbeat and positive, a very calming and soothing presence :) She's also got kick-ass stage presence and the best smile around! I'm so glad I've gotten to know her, and I'm thrilled she's one of my sisters in dance!
