Erik has always liked and tolerated me, and I'm never quite sure why. Perhaps it's because he's taken to heart the proverb about suffering gently fools and children. He's quite a bro, and quite a man, and I enjoy hanging with him at Faire, although we get little time to do it.

Erik gets a new thingie.
SO, like I said before, Erik is my hero. He is, adn always will be the Dodger of my heart. Even though he won't be Dodge next year...He always will be to me. Anyway! I am not afraid to say that I have a baby crush on Erik, but tehn, whodoesn't? He's such a sweetie, and he always has a smile and a hug for those who need it. It seems to be that he goes out of his way to acknowledge people, even if it's just a wink while he's in the den or in the street as he passes. Erik is one of the best people I have ever met, and I hope to know him for a long time to come. December 13, 2006

I first met Erik when I was 9 and he was 12. Being the pudgy little nerd he was, I, of course, had a crush on him instantly. Unfortunately at the time, he still thought girls were icky. I still hung around with him and his boys all of the time though because I was quite the tom-boy back then, and I kind of agreed with the whole girls=icky thing. Five years later, having gotten over himself he became my very first serious boyfriend, and for the next few years, through the death of my mom and a bunch of other crap, he was my rock. Though we've grown into very different lives, we've always maintained contact, and through it all we've become family.

Eric may have one of the greatest poker faces of all-time. It helped him win a poker tournament despite him holding only the 7 of hearts, the 2 of clubs, a joker, a green number 4 from Uno and a 'get out of jail free' card.

What can be said about Erik? I once told him that we are much alike. The social butterflies of the group, that roam from person to person throughout the party. We have no problem talking to anyone and generally like people as a whole. I met Erik a long time ago as one of my brothers friends in 4-H. Long enough ago that I can't recall the exact time actually but for story sake lets say above ten years. In those ten years we have had disagreements but not many in comparison to some of my other friends. I believe that is because we are so similar in personality. Humor is a motivator to us, we see life as humourous and try to spread our love of it. Jokeing and Jesting in Eriks case is a way to break the ice and become the socialites we want to be. A main similarity to Erik and I is that we have silver spoon tastes. We both love the finer things in life and can't afford them. From nice cars, cigars, booze and appetites we want them all to be the best but we settle for what we can get and splurge every once in a while. Erik is a good natured individual and a close friend, A decient cook too. :) I realize this isn't really a traditional testimonial about someone, but I've known him long enough to know that back story comes with a tale of Erik for me. There is so much history behind those eyes that not telling of it would be an injustice. SAM

Erik is awesome, he's great and brotherly, friendly, and one of the best conversationalists if you can get him to stop and say hi. Sometimes he's also pretty funny.
