this is mine.
she's wonderful and fragile and all gooey inside while being an in-control-of-herself wonderful woman making her own way in a few new worlds.
she lives in my heart. if you're fortunate, she'll live in yours too...

I hate cats. On principle I try not to hate anything but I hate cats. Please prove me wrong, I've got a modeling gig coming up that has to do with clothespins and ropes, sort of an 'anti-dryer' protest thing.
You may not know, but most sock puppets hate dryers. I hate dryers, except when I'm on bounce -- whoo hoooooo! Then they're fun. It's a wicked buzz and a ride to die for, but many do.
Then there's the lint. Pretty stuff, but made up of ourselves. You lose a few braincells everytime. I don't know if you can relate to this kitty. You understand pain, and I think I do too. Nothing like looking at that ball of lint wondering if it was you. Kind of like a hairball.
So I hope to ask you a few questions about the clothesline thing. Where do they put the clips, where can you get colored ropes, because I'm punk and I hate white, blah blah blah.
Oh yeah, and yawkitty is a great person, blah blah blah, hangs with the captain and crew...blah blah blah insert adjective here, insert verb here - followed by juicy adjective/verb again, and blah.
slive.

Fearless among squirrels and beavers, and can tie a mean knot to boot. Transitioning toward the transcendental, all the while draping a victorian novel over the edge of the bathtub with a sigh.

Here, kitty, kitty, kitty!
I must say that I don't believe that I have ever written a testimonial for a cat with an online personality before! Being a puppet who sometimes masquerades as a piratte and now a fairy, I hope to someday have some escapades with this frisky feline! Will you come & play, s'il vous plait?
Your testimonial fairy,
Captain Puppet

"Leap, and the net will appear."
It's been too long since I updated the poem. Here's a fine one.
______________
Sometimes
by Sheenagh Pugh
Sometimes things don't go, after all, from bad to worse.
Some years, muscadel faces down frost; green thrives; and all goes well.
A people sometimes will step back from war;
Elect an honest man; decide they care enough
That they can't leave some stranger poor.
Some people become what they were born for.
Sometimes our best efforts do not go amiss;
Sometimes we do as we meant to. The sun
Will sometimes melt a field of sorrow that
Seemed hard frozen: may it happen for you.
Expel the bad spirits!

While Tribe has been skittering on the edge, it's been a month of medical Stuff for many humans, some of it large, some of it small, some of it mine, much of it other people's (including the friend who walked around for two weeks thinking she had flu, when in fact her appendix was dangerously shredding). H. had a CAT scan (results happily negative; process interesting, in a mildly geeky sort of way). Me, I was told I had an autoimmune disorder, told I didn't have it, called back and told I di...

... will help my friend Kate's friend Beth on her way to a scholarship to grad school to study sustainable business. The application required her to make this wee video about tea drinking, and part of the grading process is how many hits it gets before Wednesday at midnight. Add a hit? Cheers.

So declared a woman at a bus stop on Killingsworth, and I could not say I disagreed.
Week 1 of the experiment in reducing my personal dependence on oil, and so far so good. I love my TriMet pass! It will take me anywhere, in the fullness of time. It says to the world that I'm no longer an amateur, fumbling with cash and transfers. No! I have my hankie and my bus pass and am free to roam.
Today I took the 6 and the 4 to go help H. and M. rehearse a dance piece which requires audience i...
