Well, we got an offer that we thought we couldn't refuse ... a free pass to review an upcoming movie, if we'd just stick around to give it a review, but can't talk about scenes or actors or anything publicly so I won't.

All I can say is that the upcoming Miami Vice is by far the worst piece of dreck that I've ever seen on the big screen, *INCLUDING* all those bad movie nights in college. All I wanted to do was get up and leave, but was in center seats in a packed theater so was unfortunate... read more
Well, I guess Mother Nature has decided that Thursdays are sunshine days in the Bay Area. Both last Thurs and this one I took a somewhat long lunch to get in an intense 22 mile bike ride.

Finally, exercise that can be done *OUTSIDE*, YEAH!!!
The Parkway Theater offers 2 for 1 tickets on Wednesdays, and this week is "Find Me Guilty" which got better reviews than I expected, so we're planning on being there.

Fairly new here and looking for friends (and more) to have fun with, talk/debate with, go out to watch movies, soak in the hot tub after hiking/biking, etc. Have found a couple of good biking groups, a nice poly community (several great poly potlucks in the East Bay) and have found all kinds great places to eat out.
I love keeping fit and active, despise TV but love movies, hate watching sports but love playing them, and am always trying to learn more about myself, the world and how the two work together! Alas, I'm a geek -- I work with computers on a regular basis, love RPG and LARP games, regularly attend SF conventions, and always have something handy in my shirt pocket :-) Also working on keeping my LTR happy and healthy, but also open to bringing new friends into it as long as there is honesty, communication and the necessary spark. We have lots of needs and things that we won't put up with, too long to list here, but feel free to ask! :-)
