*sigh* what's not to love about Hillary? she's a bad ass on the dance floor and can rock it out to your face... mild is not her style! dont let the sweet smile fool you... there is a delicious deviant behind the mask! she makes me want to grow up and be just like her... lol.. she is such a nice person and joy to be around. watch out for those stompy boots!!! i look forward to seeing her more often and i cant wait to dance with her once again!

Hilary is a sweet & sincere girl with so many talents. As a member of Shakra, she leaves me breathless! What stunning originality - amazing use of movement and music to create unique performance scenarios unlike anything else I've ever seen. Shakra brings the audience into a dark place that is (simultaneously) hauntingly evocative and kick-ass dangerous. Funny in a break your heart kinda way. Serious in a party till you drop sorta way. Brilliant!

A wickedly twisted fire-starter, a kick ass dancer and choreographer, waaaaaaaaaaay too much scary knowledge, but also ultimately kind, helpful, funny. This probably does not sound as interesting as, say, noting her near superhuman energy when dancing in clubs for hours on end....

Amazing, creative, fierce and intelligent dance artist? Definitely, whether with her posse or spinning fire. And I really mean amazing; watching H do her thing is a truly transcendent, uplifting, inspirational experience for me.
She's also one of the funnest people you could ever want to hang out with. And when the chips are down and you're between a rock and a hard place, this is the woman you want in your corner. She's sympathetic but keeps a cool head, thoughtful and resourceful in solving other people's problems, generous with her time and energies and unwaveringly reliable when things get crazy. Hilary kicks ass! I mean, literally kicks ass. Like you might want to wear a helmet and some body armor...industrial strength body armor... and you might want to carry some sort of anti-bullwhip device...and maybe a fire extinguisher...or a napalm dumpling...
Ok, and she kicks ass figuratively too. For so many reasons I couldn't possibly explain them all to you or your head would explode.

I will miss you. It was an honor to be your friend. You and Manko forever inspire me. 
Michael Crichton died at age 66...I am very sad. I had my criticism about some of his work, but it made it no less riveting for me. I liked how he saw things and was always amused that he didn't ever seem to know how to quite end his stories. My favorite book of his was his only nonfiction book "Travels." Damn.

For the past two months or more I have been receiving friend invites, messages, and comments from my awesome tribe friends, both old and new, and tribe has not been notifying me via email. Not more automated notices it seems. I noticed that I had a large number of friend invites a couple of days ago and discovered that this was going on. It was only today I put two and two together that maybe tribe was not notifying me about other goings on in my profile. I was right unfortunately.
