SF IndieFest Presents Another Hole in the Head June 5-21, 2008 Some highlights of Hole Head 2008: We open the fest was a great new sci fi flick THE GENE GENERATION starring Bai Ling as a Blade Runner-esque assassin in a dark dystopian future. Great visuals, and great action! Are kids friendly program is ATOM NINE playing as a weekend matinee. Its kid friendly, but cool enough for the rest of us to enjoy as well. This year is the 40th anniversary of the sexiest sci fi flick of the 20th Century: BARBARELLA! We're showing it as a midnight special both weekends of the festival on 35mm. Come see the original while waiting for Robert Rodriguez's remake do out this year! Friday the 13th of June we have a double bill of zombie flicks, WASTING AWAY and BRAIN DEAD. And on Friday and Saturday June 6 and 7 we premiere three local features: MINDFLESH, TRAILER PARK OF TERROR and HOMEWORLD. In addition to the usual servings of blood and gore, we have plenty of comedy in this year's festival as well. Check out 305, YAKI AND KITA and WASTING AWAY. Oh, and a documentary.
