My old college singing group, the Stanford Mendicants, are having their 45th Anniversary Show this weekend. I'm getting excited about performing. My era is only going to be doing 2 songs, but it should be a hell of a lot of fun. I have to admit, we were pretty damn good. And an added bonus is that if you bring a camera you have plenty of evidence for future blackmailing.

The show is Saturday night at 7:30 down at Dinkelspiel Auditorium on Stanford's campus. You can get tickets here: stanfordtickets.org/tickets/...view.aspx There's also a link on that page for 'venue locations' and you can find directions there.

www.youtube.com/watch you may want to watch 7:50-8:45 specifically. the rest isn't much better. we all knew this, but she's way over her head and cannot be a 72 year old's heartbeat away from the presidency. in a 10 minute interview she showed an inability to form basic coherent policy, much less show a baseline knowledge of current events. to choose Palin shows incredibly bad decision making by the McCain campaign. I can't believe this is even still a discussion.
It's an interview with John Lennon by a 14 year old, done up with some incredible animation:

My good friend Pi is in a big squeeze right now and could use a hand just as he seems to always be lending a hand to others.

I've known him to always always always be giving of his full self. And he wouldn't be seeking support unless he needs our support. He works his ass off; I couldn't imagine him doing anything without doing it thoroughly and thoughtfully. He's taught me lots; he's shared a lot with me. Now's the time to share back. If you don't know him, I'd be happy to introduce you to him. Pi is someone I'm proud to know and have in my life. pyrotation.net/community/...e_Page.html
