The good: "Come Get Crabs from Me 2008" was great this year. Every year it is fun, but this year seemed to be the best mix of people yet. It's strange how we have connections to each other that aren't related? I really had a fun time. It makes up for the stinking holidays.

On Fridays, she was the queen for an hour... Flower, the matriarch of Meerkat Manor, passed away last February, but recently the episode showing her demise aired on Animal planet. It is having a strange effect on me. I can't stop picturing that poor little one with her head swollen from the cobra bite?! It's weird that it's having such a profound effect on me.
