i saw her wedding video sitting at an internet cafe in india
i cried so hard the guy next to me gave me a tissue
i hooped on world hoop day 7/7/07 overlooking the banks of the Ganga river
she tied me to a global community all doing the same
she vouched for me on couchsurfing
which opened doors for me to experience the richness of culture from the inside
when you are in the presence of a real diamond
the brilliance is of a value that can't be monetized
the carats are more than anyone has ever seen
mined from the heart of life itself
she is a gift to the world
and i am deeply grateful and thankful
to have been in the light of this ring of fire.
