Today, I re-arranged my speakers. I added a second set, and arranged that, too. Now, because of the way the speakers are positioned, wherever I stand, or sit, or lie in one half of the room, I seem to be surrounded by sound. I close my eyes and find that the sound carries me, like water does the swimmer.

Frankly, this seemed odd.

I received a message from someone who paid me a compliment. That was good. People like for people to pay them compliments, don't they. I certainly do. "You seem like a nice guy" sounds so much more encouraging than, say: "I took one look at you and reached for my sick bag".
