about me
in a nutshell....I am a bellydancer in the making (lol), have a son who is awesome, I am a SCAdian (go House Warbrock), do costuming for Middle Eastern dance. I like to think I am open minded, a bit self-centered (well, I don't 'like' that, but...), helpful and generally an alright girl : )

Where do i begin about Christina. This is the girl whose first business card introduced her as "the Mistress of the Seams".....lol!!! I have had her email address comitted to memory since our first meeting, and have abused it quite readily!!! You are the most resourceful costumer I know. Calling in favors and importing wonderful wares for our troupe at the last minute!! And my how you can shake that A...!!! You are by far the sunniest belly donsah i know and i am pleased to have our lives cross paths!! Shake it baby shake it!
I am psyched cause I pulled off hosting my first workshop this past weekend. We had Kira in from Centerville and the workshop was awesome and Kira was a blast...that girl is hardcore..lol!!
That evening we had a show in the gazebo at the park and without any advertising we had a pretty decent crowd (my son had 22 programs to hand out and he ran out pretty quick!) Not the drug...although there are people out there like that....

So, I am still a little grumpy about my weekend. I went to an SCA event, told it was a great bellydance event. So I am expecting maybe some workshops on MED during the day, but no. Which is fine, I can keep busy. So on Sat nite we get ready for the evenings fires/drumming/dancing. Then I am informed that the fire we were planning to go to was a Bachelor party, and since I had my seven year old in tow it might not be too kosher. Ya know how they say when it rains it pours? Well my life is in a monsoon. I think I may freak out if I see it all in print!
