If you monitor news feeds like slashdot's Your Rights Online [yro.slashdot.org/] you probably know that the government is doing all kinds of fun crap that will affect our lives. I'm generally a pretty hands-off person politically, but you just don't fuck with the big brain, damnit. I love my internet and I don't like to see it threatened. So, pour vous, some fun resources I thought everyone should be aware of, whether or not you feel inclined to get involved:

www.democraticmedia.org/ - I find their name a bit ironic because I have my doubts about the ultimate fate of democracy, but they do have lots of great references and action alerts.
