Short Rant:



Valentine's day has never really made sense to me. I think it is a lightly shielded comercial ploy to get people to buy chocolate, flowers and a bunch of other heart shaped crap to prove they love their partner. I say I love you every day to the people I love and I will be damned if I am going to give in to the hallmark moment. OK rant over.

I am sad to say that he died yesterday. He was one of the greatest male soul artist. If you don't know who he is think about Mustang Sally.

We went to a thrift store here in atlanta to see if we could find some good pieces of glass for me to use in a mosaic that I want to do. Instead

Getting yelled at by a jerk and his thugs that work there for having attitude because I said "It will take longer for us to move the vehicle at this point than it will take to explain what we are doing here" and getting threatened that they are going to "whoop yer ass". PRICELESS



Even more priceless we were 86ed from the Thrift Store which I am sure is far worse than getting 86ed from the worst dive bar I have ever graced.



The MOST PRICELESS.... they were so mad they forgot to charge for the end tables and even loaded them for us!!!! muhahahaha

The three of us went two stepping tonight. It was a lot of fun but I will be a bit self concious until I practice a bit more I think we were the only three that had not been before. anyhow I am going to try to make a link to the pic.



Today we waited overtime for the cable guy but we now have internet, phone and tv for the same price we were paying for internet and phone and it is faster internet to boot.

Look, I waited this long to post anything about this because I was not sure how to express what I feel without sounding like an ass. The conclusion I came to is that I want to remember Jeff but don't care if I sound like an ass to you all. If you know me well you will understand what I am saying and if not then you will probably jump to a conclusion that is in fact incorrect most probably.



I have chatted with Jeff online for years. We never met in person although there was an interest in doing so. A few months ago I took Jeff off my lj friends list. I did not do this because he was bad, boring, or posted too many big pics without cuts. I did that because he made a choice not to use live journal in a dramatic goodbye cruel journal kind of way. I am not real big on fishing...



Jeff and I continued to chat though obviously when he began his health battle I was left out of the circle not by choice but by neccessity. I followed his illness closely via castro.



That all being said I will miss you Jeff. You fought an evil war never losing your bravery. I will not cry for you however. My tears are for myself and those that will also miss you. My spiritual beliefs are such that I believe that this was the plan from the begining and simply your destiny is complete for this phase of your life. I will remember you fondly but not sadly as your passing was not in vein nor is anyones.
