Howdy kids. I'm back from a 10 day trip to Japan. My first trip off the North American continent. Mostly in Osaka but some time spent in Kyoto and Nara as well. I have uploaded pics to my Picassa page for your enjoyment. There's a few there. To try and capture everything you see, sense and experience through a photograph is difficult. I tried to take many pictures to attempt this, but these don't capture the depth, the hecticness, the always looking over your shoulder for some crazy ass guy on a bicycle who might run into you (that didn't happen. I didn't see one bicycle crash into anything the whole 10 days and there were a ton of bicycles), the smells the language and sounds, the trains, etc. etc. etc. It was a great experience and spending a few days there alone before a friend briefly rendezvoused with me gave me the feeling that I can travel anywhere.
