about me
I am, in varying order and to varying degrees: a mother, a bartender, homeless, a bookkeeper, a doctoral candidate, tattooed, a wife, a poet, a native New Yorker, a thief... but never a beggarman.

1. What do you do for physical exercise? Twirl my hair. 2. Do you enjoy eating black licorice? Yes. Even salted. Can thank my first husband for that habit. Damned Swedes! 3. Have you ever had or been a mentor? Yes and yes. 4. What beverages do you typically consume in day? Coffee, water and maybe one glass of sparkling with a splash of juice. 5. Do you know how to sew? Since I am, a. a stay-at-home mother with a daughter almost the exact same age as hers, b. a sucker, and, c. so... read more
Being (at least in practice) new to this site, the outages of the past couple of months were sufficient to dampen my initial Tribe enthusiasm. Inaccessibility is bad enough, but must the administrators specify the outage length and thereby instill false hope? Why not just say, "We are utterly clueless as to when Tribe will be back and suggest you try again in a week"? Or, if such a humble self-assessment is too much to expect from anyone in this day and age, why not the ambiguous, "Pl...
