about me
If you are wondering who the hell I am and what I'm talking about you probably don't know that I'm a WasherWoman at the Southern California Renaissance Faire. I'm not the Guildmistress and I don't speak in any sort of official capacity for the guild, but I have a pretty good idea what's going on with us. Most of the time. My character is not too bright, and, well, theater is based on truth, right?

My video made it into the top ten of a video contest to win a cabin on the Ships & Dip cruise! The top three will be voted on by the band, so my video needs to get into that top three. Please take a moment to vote for me. Here's what you need to k...

Faire is over
(blog entry)
It was a good year for my guild. I'm ridiculously proud of all of them. Actually, not a good year, but the best year in my memory. I wish it had been a better year for me, but maybe next year. I am a bit frustrated that a gig I enjoyed and that th...

Whoa, is that a bandwagon?
(blog entry)
I had a nice little post written out about how if anyone should be freaking out it should be us, and if we aren't none of you should either, but I decided to delete it. Instead I'm going to talk about Jason Plumb.
Have you heard of Jason Plumb ...

Faire: Weekend three (two for me)
(blog entry)
Late Saturday afternoon Glen and I realized that we were a little sad about missing the first night Passover seder, so Michelle helped us make a very abbreviated ceremony. We found out that one of our new friends was also a Jew who was missing his...

For a lost friend
(blog entry)
I've seen fire, and I've seen rain.
I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end.
I've seen lonely times when I could not find a friend,
But I always thought that I'd see you again.
It's been nearly five years now. Three since our las...

It was a good year for my guild. I'm ridiculously proud of all of them. Actually, not a good year, but the best year in my memory. I wish it had been a better year for me, but maybe next year. I am a bit frustrated that a gig I enjoyed and that the audience really responded to was shut down because a few people (not the director, not the management, and not the audience) didn't like it. I'm frustrated that I was asked not to respond to the arguments, or to even acknowledge the controversy, a ...

Have you heard of Jason Plumb and The Willing? Canadian guy, used to be a member of "The Waltons". There's something about Jason's voice that makes me feel all shivery. It's not a particularly unusual or distinctive voice, he's not the world's best singer (though he's a damn good...

Late Saturday afternoon Glen and I realized that we were a little sad about missing the first night Passover seder, so Michelle helped us make a very abbreviated ceremony. We found out that one of our new friends was also a Jew who was missing his seder, and we invited him and anyone else who was interested to join in. Only one other person did, but thank goodness she was there because she was the only one who remembered the fourth question.
It was lovely. It was very small, and we had no ...

It's been nearly five years now. Three since our last email exchange.
It seems longer.
I don't think about you too much, but there are a few songs who's lyrics remind me of you and always make me a little sad. Then I try to google you, but never find much. It's mostly about some guy at IBM. I hop...
