so i have now left the bay area for the last time before i leave.
thank you to all who gave me a wonderful sendoff, you know who you are.
i'm going to miss you all terribly, but please send me your address if i haven't already gotten it from you, and i'll send you post cards.
i leave this coming wednesday, and will return in december.
i'm missing you already. hold down the fort for me while i'm gone.

I admire this woman, a testament to complete and full self-expression,
any time of day, and for any reason, in every season,
even if it means looking like a vulnerable mess after a week in the desert in the middle of the day, and it doesn't make ya comfortable, nor does it even sound pretty.
Most of the time though it's ruggedly real, a bit surreal and beautiful. It won't change from you to you or me to them.
It is something to inspire and something to achieve- which is second nature to this one. Keep it comin', for I'm taking notes.
