Hi my first blog ever. Here goz. I went to San Diego. I got there a bit late so I missed Louis VI. ect. but I did get to see Social D ,White Stripes & The KILLERS. Great night esp. when Killers sang "I got soul but I'm not a Soldier" ! ! I met a friend of mine from high school - it was a suprize from my friend Steve. Her name is Deanna and I had such a crush on her then. We've been frienz since ect. Anyway the next day we hung out and I hadn't ever done E. So we dropped it and went to the Pride festival. Steve started feeling it the first and was having a ball . It took an extra hour for it to hit me. I was dancing to some great Blackalicious music I had never heard. There was a man dancing with his son and it was sooo beautiful to watch. He was so present with him. It seemed like a lot of people were on the same place that we were. I've been getting over a broken arm so I had to watch what I was doing. I had such a loving experience. Then we went back to Steve's new Condo. It is so beautiful. I didn't know which room I wanted to be in. I knew I couldn't have clothes on. So off they came. Steve and Deanna took theirs off as well. There were no shades on the windows. But we didn't seem to care. I would go out on the balcony to smoke a cig. and the people from the other tower of the same complex would wave and give me the thumbs up sign, (I had my orange seventies Addidas running shorts on).So I thought we were under the radar so to speak. Then I was having another smoke and this woman from a restaurant on the roof of a building started waving to me. So I waved back. Then a whole group of people started waving to me all along the railing. I waved back . Then the woman picked up something that looked like a camera and pointed to it. I then realized that they could see into the condo perfectly and had been taking pictures of us. So I gave her the thumbs up sign and went inside.
Later my friend Deanna with the beautiful breats had to leave for a flight home to Tucson. It was sad. Then Steve and I hung out. Steve was much more relaxed then I . So I didn't want to go to the concert yet . We then decided that we should go to this party we were invited to. It was the same people who had waved to me while I was on the balcony from the other Tower . We went and low and behold they had been watching our "party". Which aside from nudity and dancing was rather innocent. The woman who lived there was pestering us about getting shades. I think she was quite embaressed but was being sweet by offering us her co. info ect. to get them up asap. The husband is an artist and said his carpenter had his children with him and he was mad at us. I didn't want to give him the nudity is great lecture and bombs are bad speech cause we were in conservative San Diego. Children should be suprized when they grow up to see what other adults look like naked ! ! But they should see lots of people being Blown up so that they won't be suprized when they grow up and see people being blown up.. Makes sense
Then we went to the concert. First we saw Flamming lips. They were amazing. Wayne Coyne gave a lot of Love and we gave it back. He did a sing along and said , " I know it's corny and if you haven't tried it before just try it now." I was great he had the cameraman come real close and he was singing with a nun hand puppet. The images had a fishbowl lens effect. it made the nun look quite evil. It was AWESOME !! Then came the Pixies which I wasn't as familiar with their music. It was ok but a bit negative after the Flamming lips. So we bailed out and went bar hopping. Some other friends from L.A. were hitting bars as well. Then off to bed. nite nite
