The Gray Wolf is in Danger

Today, the Bush administration announced that all federal protection of the Gray Wolf is to be revoked. This will allow hunters in the states of Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana to all but completely obliterate the wolf population. With only 1500 wolves in these areas, there is not enough to sustain their population. The new federal laws will allow killings of all wolves but 300. Even in Yellowstone National Park (where for over a decade, people fought for the reintroduction of the wolf into the park), the wolf could be killed on sight. Pups are not safe either, hunters are now allowed to use aerial gunning, traps, poison, and any other method to kill entire wolf packs. The Bush administration has used OUR tax dollars to already buy two planes for the purpose of aerial killing of wolves, making it possible to slaughter an entire wolf pack within minutes! Even though the Gray Wolf is still on the Endangered Species list, the Bush administration has disregarded that fact and made it legal anyway to kill wolves. This is blatently illegal and disgusting. The wolf is a beautiful creature with which I have shared a deep connection with my entire life. I would be greatly saddened if the only wolves my children ever get to see are on documentaries from decades ago, or caged up in zoos. The extinction of the gray wolf is emminent. If you feel the urge to do so please do one or both of these options... So i ordered some knee pads online for elevation 2 weeks ago... got them in the mail last Wednesday... well scatch that... i can't read... i got ONE knee pad in the mail and either way it was the wrong size... shipped it back the same day for right size and another knee pad... haven't heard from them yet and I need them for Friday! Grrr... So... what i should have done... send that one back for a full refund and just buy 2 more! Of course i come up with this last Thursday *SIGHS* I think i'm going braindead or something... that and i still find myself daydreaming way too much during the day... i'm loosing it! Grrr.... Anyway the reason behind this post (besides gripage rights)... I was wondering if anyone had knee pads i could borrow for the Blue Lotus Workshop on Friday... who's not going to it of couse... THX! So $100 bucks later (with the 25% discount), I've got beautiful pics of everyone in my troupe! Plus MizMol, cause she's so damn cute and happy in her leetle hat... Gonna put all of these pics in a collage and hang in my new 2nd bedroom that i have claimed as my dance space!!! *BOUNCE* Yay for beautiful pics! I'll take a pic of the whole thing when it's done and probably post it on Tribe. And knock on wood... Yay for my new condo i'll hopefully be moved into BEFORE TribalFest... oye... not looking forward to this one. Anyone know where i can get a decently sized mirror, for a decently sized price (no silly frame on it mind you). I'm also planning on going to Core Power Yoga on 13th & Grant, Saturdays @ Noon for their FREE Level One class consistently... That i'm completely psycho... Yeah should have stayed home last night and PRACTICED for once but no, i chose to go with my boyfriend to his school and help him study/surf the internet and THINK about belly dance. Oye. Well my midterm dance is tomorrow! (which i will be getting up on youtube; so long as i'm not too ashamed of my performance). So yeah there's that... Oh yeah and i just got this stupid idea in my head that i'm going to make my own coin bra. But hey i'm exited about it! I know a smidge about hand sewing, so... so long as i don't have to touch a sewing machine i'll be fine. I'm going to order a base from flying skirts and then attach all of my own coins! I've got a few coins from Denmark, Brazil, Germany, France etc that i'm going to sew on. But i still need more, so if anyone wants to donate some foreign coins, that are just sitting around that'd be awesome! I'll probably end up buying some middle eastern ones as well to put on but it'd just be all cool and sentimental to look at my coin bra and say oh! I got that one from her and that one from him! Friendship coin bra... hehehe that's cool sounding. I got the idea from my teachers coin bra that i am borrowing at the current moment (and pictured above). All the coins on there are really old and so much fun to look at. Luvs Everybody! Joanna

Anyone else feel so rediculously lost and alone when Tribe shuts down for maintenance with no warning? It seems really pathetic, but that's how i feel!
