Of all the people that i have met,
there are few that possess as many gifts
as this man
At first glance jealousy was the first
emotion that i felt,,,it overtook my ability to reason--
this guy had it all,
he's hot, live the glam life, oh yeah
did i mention that he is fucking hot,
gets all the fly ladies, beautiful performer,
amazing photographer, yeah yeah yeah,
so typically this guy would be the one that i
love to hate---
and i knew who he was long before we connected--
but when we did finally exchange words it was him to
break the ice, him to approach me, he said,,,"your Erin aren't you?" What's this i say?
the famous one approaching me? He simply lowered his eyes to
mine and then said, with a completely humble tone "It''s and honor to meet you,"
and then he met my gaze with the kindest and gentlest eyes---a beautiful reflection---
thank you Brion for teaching me that there are light warriors out there
consumed in the dark battle for glory and fame,,,thank you for honoring me as your
brother and your friend,,,thank you for treating me how you deserve to be treated,,,
thank you for setting the example that beauty comes from within,,,
keep fighting your fight Brion, i know you are going to realize your long term goals--
you won't always remain in the plane of material vision, your power lies much deeper then that,,,
your power rings from the heart chord!!

**icarus and i**
testing our balance
with carefull grooves,
holding on to flame throwing bassbins,
we make milliions of meaningful misteps
on the creaky wooden deck.
we rearange the pauses and glitches
to invent personal pleasureable patterns
like constellations drawn on hard cracked earth.
i take a step back and reach down for you,
"come with me" i demand and without protest you are already there
scooping up the milky way to sprinkle it out before us,
the stars fall into new paths across the dancefloor for us to explore.
closed eyes and a smile,
hands up in protest as if to say no more.
but the musics' velvet touch is merely
welcoming to us
and it us holds tight.
later, when we think we have to move on,
dry and parched our eyes lock and smiles creeping in,
when bitter fatigue shouts from our bodies,
touch forehead to forehead,
grip my shoulder my brother and squeeze energy back into me.
when hot dusty gasoline breezes lay heavy on the grinding hordes,
just then a new bassline wraps its smokey hands around us
and promises the beautiful moment of losing ourselves once again to the desert.

Just in time for the holidays...
For those of you that have voiced an interest in having a book of my work...
Your wish is granted....
In a couple weeks I will be selling a 90 page, 11 inch tall by 13 inch wide "coffee" table book.
and with the exception of the intro... it will be completely photography.
I will be selling it for around $100.
