Fashion sense, a wicked humor (humour?), the most discerning and detailed eye for foto's I have ever seen, and truely one of the most special people you may ever have the grace to cross paths with. I would love Icka boot even if she didn't pretty much introduce me to my Helen... plus she will drink most of the things I make, and does turn a delightful color of red when complimented, which is terribly endearing.

My nickname for Icka boo, is Icka the beautiful. She's simply lovely inside and out. She has charm and a smile that'll stun you! I'm totally looking forward to fun at burning man with her.

You know how the German people make up crazy compound words to articulate the unarticulatable (or so the Germans would have us believe)? Well, here are a few words I came up with to describe the many layers of one Jessica Palopoli:

1) Multa-rangy
2) Trumscrulescent
3) Philanuanced
4) Serbisensical
5) Pookyriffic

Ok, I admit I don't know what those words mean... but they sound like compliments don't they? In a world of roaming charges, porkbarrel politics, and moldy donuts, Jessica (or "Yessica", I don't know why she even bothers with the "J") is nothing less than a tonic AND a remedy. Did somebody say tonic? Where's my goddamn Gin?!?!

Some of my favorite Yessica memories include: singing in the park, thick volumes of cawfyshop memoirs, the old man blues laugh, hitting every key at once to express extreme hilarity (all my memories don't have to be from a long time ago, do they?), things we can and cannot picture Osbaldo doing, Secret Ninja everything, and virgin sushi experiences.

I meant the sushi experience was my first time, therefore a virgin experience! Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez.

I sometimes wish we could take the nature of a person and transform it into a palpable, tangible sensation. Icka would be soft hands pushing the weight of life away, coaxing you towards slumber. That is the length of her kindness and the depth of her intelligence. Beauty permeates in the words she writes, the way she speaks, and the motion of her walk. If you do not know her, you are missing a unique wonder. She is art.
