The only thing more annoying than a straight man who is as hot as Mike is when he knows just how hot he is.

One of my best memories was at PDF in Fall, 2005. ICoN was there and taught me so much it was incredible (straight arm weave, crossover, etc etc). He's just such a gracious teacher and great person to have fun with. I'm a fan.

I love Mike. I will always love him. To me, Mike’s not just an amazing fire spinner but he’s also a loyal, funny, sweet, sensitive, strong, supportive, helpful, available, kind, warmhearted, caring, passionate, accepting and loving friend. When I met him for the first time, I could feel potential bubbling beneath his shy boy exterior. I knew he had something special to offer this world. Today, he is a young man exploding with passion for life who shares his gifts freely. He is growing, he is brave, and it’s obvious that he has what it takes to make it in this world. Mere words cannot express how much I will always, always love him.

one thing ive appeciated is my freeness to ramble in mikes presense and he is a really good listener and communicator on all sorts of topics. hes really sweet too ~ bringing me home safely from psytrance occations ~ and accompanying me and a four year old at the roller skating rink - how freakin sweet is that ~swoon ~hope we'll be friends for eternity~and beyond~ and of course there is mike's talent ~ he can roller skate, dance, AND do poi at the same time?? like whoew! thanks for bringing beautiful arrays of light to our lives mike!!

In the past when I've watched men spin fire, I saw fantastic feats of poi manipulation. Technical and impressive. Mike has taken it to a new level. Mike is an artist painting the air with his poi brushes. I could watch him spin forever!
