I live in SF, but travel north and south frequently. I am most myself right before I go to sleep and right after I wake up. I love wearing hospital scrubs and a t-shirt. I am no good at small talk.

I don't own anything Burberry, or wear thick-rimmed black glasses. I'm socially aware and once worked to save the dolphins, but I still wear my GAP scarf and drive my car. Watching the 700 Club gives me the chills (in the worst kind of way). I don't eat pork.

Long silences don't make me nervous. I'm addicted to purple irises, peanut sauce, and down comforters. I know where the sidewalk ends.

I find something satisfying about watching fingers move up and down a fretboard or along the keys of a piano. Somewhere around the age of 12, I became allergic to shopping malls. I floss daily.

I miss having someone to cook for, (I also miss having someone to wash the dishes). Sometimes I sing in the shower when I think no one is listening. I like to walk the beach at night even when it's cold. I look forward to the day when I can wake up unafraid to feel.
