An all around great friend. Awesome dad, loving husband and fun, fun, fun to be around. Plays poker like no one's business and surely the first person you want sitting at your blackjack table. Always the person you want to have around when you need a shoulder to cry on, to laugh with (or at), to have a beers and good times. I've known this guy and his wife for years and they are like my second family.

For almost 10 years now this resourceful man of good taste has been coercing me into making good choices...from concerts at the Fillmore to showing me how to FESTIVAL! at High Sierra. Well-informed and quick-witted, he never once made fun of me for drinking bad beer. I am a better man for knowing him.

Ikasaurus is an really kind person, full of fun and a joy to be around. He is an especially loyal friend and has a great sense of humr. Plus he has excellent taste in wine and music!

ok...posting it someplace is the act of drunk tribing, but all over the place? how can he think "people need to see this"?

Re: Farve' grand scheme revealed
(in NFL Football)
Heh...farve is playing better than expected. Cutler hasn't been the bears problem. The defense and the receivers have. Sure he's had some bad games, but he's still an upgrade. The bears can't win when they give up 21 points in the first q. Th...

Re: Benson 2.0

That's what masking agents are for. I'm not convinced, but I'd certainly not rule it out.
I think being released was a wake up call for him, so with or without steroids he is working harder and that has more to do with it than anything. He wa... read more discussion post on Fri, October 30, 2009 - 10:54 AM
Re: Benson 2.0
(in NFL Football)
Yes. He looks great.
I hate him more than ever. Tillman described him as physically bigger. If he had taken his stint with the bears seriously we would have been set at RB and could have drafted some much needed defense. discussion post on Mon, October 26, 2009 - 10:47 AM

Just when I think I'm getting out...they keep sucking me back in. Dumpstaphunk was a great opener and would have been more memorable if I hadn't been completely (and somewhat unexpectedly) blown away by the main event. Many kudos to Mike for dragging me out. I thought I had seen enough of Phil. I was wrong. This band (and Jackie's strong voice) managed this issue and in the right spots he fit in great. The energy was high all night and the band was very tight. Right fro... read more

Woo Cubs. I'm having goat burritos to kill the hoax. In the flawed NL they have a decent shot. Let's hope the bats stay solid and big Z doesn't melt down. Thanks to Randi for the steal you base (right off your catcher). I recently revisited Ray Bradbury’s “Fahrenheit 451”. I hadn’t read this classic since high school. I was surprised at how compelling I found his foresight and the message. It really echoed some thoughts that had been rattling around in my mind in a time when our candidates must communicate their messages in seconds and cgi or action films dominate the screens. Not to channel Chomsky here, I enjoy some big action films and am a sports nut. I just think our cultural interests should enc... read more
RIP Charles Nelson Reilly...thanks for all the childhood laughs. Surely you will be a martyr for the late night b actors of the world. I expect his religion will be bigger than Christianity.
