I usually don’t put much credence in boycotts. It was with no small amount of sadness that I read the obituary of George Carlin this morning. What a great comedic mind! I remember listening to him from a young age, laughing at his delightfully vulgar skits, while looking around in paranoia for an adult that might catch our small group listening to this 'dirty' comic. I still quote some of his more memorable phrases. Rest in Peace, George.

I was running by myself the other day, singing a little Cake in my head. I can feel myself getting stronger. I have lost over thirty pounds now, and I was able to run 3 miles without walking Sunday night. Tonight, I walked a little bit over the 3 mile course and made it round trip in thirty-two minutes.
