Dave Copyright and why I need several shots of Ole Number 7 right now
Today has not been a good day for me on the issue of copyright. So I thought that it would be a good time to blog on the issue.

Let me give you some background.

I was notified by a fellow photographer that a couple of my images were on sale on a site. And why would I list images that were on sale at Alamy.com (which is one of the sites where I market my rights managed stock photographs) on a site that was selling them for 2 bucks as part of a compilation. Double top secret image storage
I am opening up some of my super secret image storage locations to public view.
(Don't worry ... I have another hiding place ... hehehe)

These images are a mish-mash of a bunch of stuff ... some dance related some not ... Some commercial...some not.
There are some older images here (vintage 05) and newer stuff (vintage yesterday)

Most of the images is just stuff I like

Ah ... Do you do more "sexy photography"
LOL I actually was asked this in email today...
The answer is a complicated one... but I am going to try to answer.

I am privileged enough to photograph all kinds of people ... all races... all sizes and shapes and all ages. The folks that I photograph also have very differing attitudes and values. Thats all cool... My job is to make them as comfortable as possible and deliver the absolute best images that I can that matches their desires.

Photo Retouching - Alegria Style !
I have been asked by a couple of folks recently about our photo retouching and restoration services.

The answer is yes ... we do retouch and restoration under the following conditions:

Retouching
1) we will not retouch any images unless they are done by us or there is a full copyright release by the photographer. We will not do any images that we cannot establish copyright status.

2) Images for retouch must be full resolution (greater than 200DPI). They will need to be in JPG, N... read more

I've not known him very long, but he has got a fun sense of humour and is a very friendly person. He has a calm voice, but don't let that fool you-- he's not taking crap from anyone! My favourite thing about Dave is how easily he communicates how he sees the world through his photography and how he enjoys it. I think his photos are beautiful.
