Where can I start about this man??!! He is the warm-heartest, most generous person you will ever meet, always there for you if you need him and always thinking of others. He is fun and zany, willing to play full out, and yet has a very serious intellectual side and a deep wisdom. He is a very good friend to me, and has been there for me on numerous occasions. I always know I can count on him and that he will provide me with the fairest perspective in any situation. He's not afraid to speak the truth! Tapan will always go the extra mile for people, regardless of whether he knows them well or not, and often without anyone ever knowing he has done so. He's like a father figure for our gang, except one of those really cool fathers who swears and smokes pot, and puts on ladies clothing at dress-up parties (my dad did that once, he's cool too!). Tapan is an all-round wonderful man and I am blessed to have him in my life. I love you Tapan!

Tapan is one of the funniest people I know, on and off stage. He's easy going, ready for any adventure, and quick to relax and have a good time with new people. He's also a whore.

I have been around this old mundo a few times but will honestly say that I have never met a man more spiritually and intellectually gifted than Tapan. Sure, sure, he talks funny and at a head-spinning rate but once your ears and mind adjust to his frequency you are in for a real treat. He is complex and constantly in motion. A fast talking urchin from Gujarat turned MBA toting Stand Up comic. He has a heart as big as Texas that never stops giving. All this said, ladies beware. Tapan is an amazing person that I am blessed to have in my life. He has a great since of humor and makes many many people laugh in the comedy clubs when he does his stand up… he has a great sense of taste in people, food, fun, atmosphere, and definitely hotties,. His love for life spills out everywhere he goes, blessing the people around him. He’s great with kids and has a passion for helping people in need. I know is I was in a ditch Tapan would be first on site to help out.. even if he didn’t know me. I am honored to call him my friend. Thanks for joining tribe!

Ramblings of a Cosmic Funny Indian
Last Saturday May 3rd - the CoExist Tour was the featured artist at Harbin Hot Springs. Now I have been a visitor to the fabulous Harbin Hot Springs for years now but this was a completely different experience. From the momment we reached the office till we departed the site the next day it was a dream come true.

I learnt a lot about the Phillipino culture. I have worked with other Phillipino comedians before but Rex is the king. The insights and the observations on a culture and its various vagaries and quirks as described by an ambassador of the culture was an awesome experience. Everyone says that the Christians stole the spring festival and made it Easter and that the Easter Bunny has more to do with fertility of the oncoming spring and nothing to do with resurrection. While that may be true I offer up another suggestion :- That the bunny exists because when Jesus arose from the dead and went back to heaven he went back hopping like a bunny all the way. Tapandy

now a clear revolt is non existent. Olympics are about athletics and not politics - Oh Yeah ! Remember when Jesse wore a black band on his arm during the Hitler Olympics ? I would be much more inclined to believe the Chinese gov't had they not used a self immolating Tibetan monk to light the olympic torch ! 
Although I have had blips on the radar before that I claimed as TV credits this weekend I taped my first ever genuine TV credit taping . I did the Comedy Slam with Russell Peters for Showtime Networks.

Also I think they should start carding people at communion ? Why is it that Catholic kids get a free ride to drinking alchohol every Sunday while the rest of us have to wait till we are 14 and have the negotiations skills and pocket change necessary to convince a bum to buy us alchohol ? changed religions in their life and found out that of those who DIDN'T change their religions Hindus were at the top. 84% of the people who were Hindus are still Hindus.
