Leah is super cool. She was one of the first friends that I made at Hot Pot and she continues to be one of my favorite people to hang with. She make me laugh. She's a great person to hang with, to dance with, to work with, to road trip with, to roll around on pillows and throw cups with, to smircle with, to get caught in the shed by the gardener with. If I ever get arrested I hope it wil be with Leah (though I hope that never happens). Thanks for being such an awesome person and a good listener.

Leah is a cosmic cookie.... bursting with starry light and sweetness. A friend told me how i needed to meet this woman, and majically we ended up having dinner at the first place i ever bellydanced that evening. She had just gotten back from India and starting up a yoga studio. Everytime <i> see her or read her words on tribe, i feel inspired. Thank you beautiful!!!! Keep shining the pure light inside. Love your way, always~*~*~*~*~*

Food for Thought
(blog entry)
I'm happy to say that I'm learning every day. Even if some of the same lessons keep repeating. I recently made the decision to quit drinking alcohol. Although I wasn't a frequent drinker, given the opportunity, I could be a party animal. I don't l...

Death Defying Yoga
(blog entry)
My friends like to tease me about once referring to a yoga demonstration as death-defying yoga. Of course, this is a good way to get people's attention. Many have the idea that yoga is slow, boring or just for the modern hippie or New Ager. Yoga i...

Going Natural Part 2
(blog entry)
I thought it's time for a sequel. I grew in lots of lovely, full and furry body hair after my first Going Natural blog. I really enjoyed the feeling and look. Over time though, I started to feel self-conscious. I had a couple unfavorable dating ex...

This has been a test of your emotional evaluation system. If you didn't pass this test. Don't worry, you'll be tested again. If you did choose the right response, don't worry you'll be tested again. In the event of an actual emotional emergency, r...

I'm happy to say that I'm learning every day. Even if some of the same lessons keep repeating. I recently made the decision to quit drinking alcohol. Although I wasn't a frequent drinker, given the opportunity, I could be a party animal. I don't like how alcohol makes me feel or behave. I've sworn off drinking in the past, usually after a killer hangover or blank spot in my memory. But this time is different and I know it , just like I knew every time before was bullshit. We can't really fool...

My friends like to tease me about once referring to a yoga demonstration as death-defying yoga. Of course, this is a good way to get people's attention. Many have the idea that yoga is slow, boring or just for the modern hippie or New Ager. Yoga is what you make it. There is another layer of meaning though. Yoga is death-defying because it encourages us to live fearlessly; to not be afraid to live, to not be afraid to question, to not be afraid of the unknown (and it's all unkown) and to not...

My spirit is a horse. Looking back to my childhood, I always have felt a deep connection to horses. I relate to their strength and grace. They can be fiercely loyal, they'll run with the pack but also need independance. They can be incredibly loving and occasionally stubborn. I love to run as fast as I can, feeling the wind caress my short mane. Whatever you do, don't fence me in, I'll find a way to escape. I need room to move, because I must move. I can nibble, I can bite. And when you're we...

I thought it's time for a sequel. I grew in lots of lovely, full and furry body hair after my first Going Natural blog. I really enjoyed the feeling and look. Over time though, I started to feel self-conscious. I had a couple unfavorable dating experiences and started to worry that it was bothering my students and maybe affecting my ability to be close and connect with people. As is the nature of thoughts, fears and emotions, the more you think about them the more powerful they become. Eventu...
