Michael has hooked me up so well.
By helping me hook myself up to be well. He first adjusted me backstage at a James Brown concert. (No joke!) He was working a health tent for the artists and i was racing around in a golf cart and we intersected when we both had a few free moments. Following a symptom i was experiencing in my back he adjusted me down to my feet where he helped restore balance. Incredibly, I felt pretty much instant relief.
Chiropractors I had had before, even those who had claimed to be 'alternative' or 'holistic', still had a certain sort of violence in their adjustments that I realized after was unnecessary or even harmful to me and my well being. Michael used that day at the show, and many times since I've become a regular patient of his, a strong but gentle power, exercised with and knowledge and care.
I can talk to him about partying, including whatever drug use, and I have never once felt judged by him. He's more than a doctor here, as well as having become a good friend he's also become my sort of all-around healer, holding space to guide me on wellness quests such as going from drinking alcohol every day to doing a two week raw diet liver cleanse.
