I am thankful that my roommate was such a loser, so that you could become my closest friend. I have watched you come out of yourself, revealing the most radiant person I know. You have made such an impact upon my life that I will always have you in my heart.
I have caught Sarah crying about kids in other countries, giving hugs to strangers, refusing help, shaking her booty like no other, reading, writing, trying to solve the worlds problems one at a time, laughing at my corny jokes, warming the hearts of all her friends, flashing her tits, peeing on her own wallet, cooking bacon, sleeping the day away, worrying about dumb stuff, taking a 2 hour bath, riding a bike, loving her family, being a friend you can count on, jumping out of an airplane, making heads turn, being hung-over, connecting with people spiritually, walking proudly, swimming naked, being the life of the party, being humble, feeding her cat, getting up in the face of a drunk guy who easily looks down upon her and telling him he’s an asshole, worrying if anyone’s going to like her, missing distant friends, eating half her sister’s ice cream cone, playing Frisbee in the park, smiling even though she feels like crap, tripping over her own feet, getting sick, listening intently while I talked about work, hauling a 75 lb bag of luggage all over Amsterdam & then Barcelona & then Mallorca, protesting the wars in Afghanistan & Iraq, partying and it was 1999, wishing she had a bigger closet, making me laugh, putting the fun in funk, singing the ‘Rainbow Connection’ with conviction, winning a third grade spelling bee, building a burning man geodesic dome in Olympic National Forest, being considerate of other people, picking up strippers, recycling, helping those in need, bumming a cigarette, rolling down a grassy hill, & being the best friend I could ever hope for.

How does one write a testimonial for the most important person throughout their life? I remember when I first started calling you Sarah Monster and why. I'm glad that name stuck with you for all of these years.
You were always my best friend and I felt so fortunate to have you in my life. When we lost touch, the void you left behind was unfillable. I am overjoyed that we have found each other again.
You are one of the most intelligent, beautiful and witty women in the world. Does Portland deserve you? No. But no place does. Still, I miss you and I wish that you would come home. I hope every one of your friends on here realizes just how special you are and how lucky they are to have you in their life. I know I do. I love you, Sarah Monster.

This picture is accurate...Sarah really, truly is this cuddly! She is an amazingly caring, fun, sweet, awesome woman who loves anything to do with muppets, bacon and hanging out with Mad Cows. I love when I get a chance to hang out with Sarah because it reminds me that it's OK to be a little quiet in a group setting and still be viewed as an important part of life.

Sarah is someone that no matter how long it's been when you last saw her, when you see her again it makes you smile a BIG WIDE smile and then everything is joyful and peaceful - then - just when you've had enough time being joyful and peaceful with her - she helps you get naughty and crazy and wild. yummmmmm (miss you.)
