Music for the Masses

Current obsessive skip back:
'Fantasmic' by Nightwish

When one of my favorite bands samples one of my favorite movies I am locked into admiring their choice. Then I fantasizing about some one just as obsessed with Disney villian's and the pathos the good movies can evoke as I am. Most people do not see past the colors and the songs and the politics.

The actual part, 3:11 is 'The Beast' (voiced by, suprisingly, Robbie Benson) saying 'becaue I love her'. Thank you Bose. I wouldn't have heard it without you.

The Beast makes my skin tickle.

An Ordinary Life

So the doctor finally gave me a second battery of blood tests that confirm, as much as possible, rheumatoid arthritis. I'm a winner! The bloody pills cost 70 dollars. I hope the shit works. I'm poor enough as it is.

The only good think that happened yesterday, apart from my puppy doing his excito-dance, was watching Skinwalkers. My my hasn't little make-me-a-vampire Jason Behr made himself...ah-hem...there's no polite way to say it, but he's it now! I happen to enjoy that kind of movie an... read more

Diana Ross is the shit. At least in movies. Mummsy and I watched this movie ages ago and I've watched it a couple of times since. I never get tired of the Hollywood presentation of Mahogany. It starts out with you knowing she makes it big. But, as with most things, itI's the journey. I just wish there was a Mahogany-Gavina moment where Gavina seduces her and succeeds.I mean--I'd do Gavina. And then there's Billy D. I didn't know if I wanted a Colt 45 while I was watching this or to visit Clo... read more

So the trainer lady was saying my doggie was supposed to meet one hundred people. I don't even know that many people. I've actually been pimping him out on the street to meet strangers. Too bad I don't have a nickle for how many times I've heard "Oh my god...he's only six months old?" He's big to say the least. I saw his namesake, Javert, on Les Mis in concert the other day and realized how much the actor resembles a mastiff. Philip Quast is also very cute. Like daydreamy cute. Points for the... read more

I've been a busy beaver lately with little to show for it but sore muscles. The library thinks I've become Wonder Woman. I keep trying to tell them that a cowboy borrowed my lasso and that my tiara is too tarnished to do me any good. Oh well. These mortals will learn one day.

So it's made me growlie of late and who better to share that particular sentiment with but James. Finding a picture of him was an infuriating search. I finally managed to get a cute one to drool over. But that might b... read more

So i'm a little obsessive when I start a story and this latest one was because of the Oz man at my work. I already knew what he looked like but I wanted him to have a friend to...share with. I wish we could download the pictures in our minds. It would make trolling round the internet for my image of my Sophie's 'Sir James' so much easier! In the long run I ended up with a slew of old photos of the British Armed forces. Yes, sah!
