Belly Blog

Well, its been a whirlwind of activity for me ever since graduation. I packed up all my crap Saturday night (and stayed up till 4 doing it) and we left Sunday morning early and moved in all my crap to Mark's apartment in Columbia. Sunday morning at 10 I was at Moon Belly for one of our long four hour practices for the May 31 show-- I think its really coming together. My friend and I have decided we're going to start a blog, become famous, become full-time bloggers, go on Oprah, get a book deal, etc. So here is our blog:

May 10: GRADUATION!
MAY 11: Moving to Columbia
May 14-19: BDSS Auditions!
May 31: DRAGONFLY SHOW!

June 7: Tribal Journeys in STL
June 13-14: Boot(ee) Camp in Columbia!

July 11-13: Suhaila level 1!

Okay, seriously, I'm so excited about where my life is headed. I'm too excited to sit here and type.

I agree with what others wrote about flaunting bellydancing... it would be weird for an employer to be like, "how are you today?" and you blurt out, "I'M A BELLYDANCER!" or something. I just try not to avoid it i... read more
