Well Istanpitta has returned to TRF for their first weekend and it felt great to be back. Although very few of the players of this ensemble actually live in Texas, the fact that the director does makes this Istanpitta's home festival. This past weekend was supported by Abby Green on vocals and percussion, and Ginna Watson on Vielle. It was a surprising low gate count but we are hoping it will pick up as the month gets cooler. And of course we were presenting our brand new CD "Exiled" for the first time at this fair so we did a lot of playing from that new release.
Definitely come out and hear us.
