I feel like I have scratched a surface that masks a surface wrapping another surface. Katt's mystery, enigma and riddle are at least four-to-six more candy shells further down. And yet I have enjoyed every moment and feel that I have accomplished much.

Katt is sassy. Katt has more lives than any other kitty katt you've ever encountered. Katt spins a mean staff (and by staff, I mean the fire kind). But I'm sure she's mean at spinning other kinds of staffs (staves?).
I think she has had more cumulatively rich experiences than any 27-year-old should have. But this makes her intriguing. And plus, she looks hot in pictures. February 13, 2006
The first time I met Katt, she danced at 80 mph. To the left, the right, in front and behind, her car gracefully zipped around me on the empty freeway. In the years I've known her, she hasn't stopped dancing in circles around everyone, the girl can't keep still. But even in her constant motion, she always makes time for her friends, and not just "oh, good to see you" time, but real honest to goodness connecting time. It's amazing the wide variety of people this girl can connect with; no matter what the situation or who the people are, what she has in common or what she doesn't, Katt has a grace, poise, and sense of self that draw people to her and the openness and caring to cultivate wonderful experiences with them.

Ah the beautiful lady that is Katt!
You are a sweetheart and a gem, and I am really happy that we have crossed paths. Our friendship is relatively new but I know that its going to last and its going to be full of dancing, laughter, fun and good times. I used to have fire engine red hair.
Tattoos. Piercings. I drink (not excessively). I smoke. (I'm trying to quit) I read. I sing in the shower. I like to sleep in on Sundays and get up early on Saturdays to hit the farmer's market. I love snuggling down into the couch on a weeknight and watch a movie while eating take out pizza. I like getting dressed up and going out for steak. I love the theatre. I love music. I like art. I like kids. I like animals. I like getting into pointless debates over silly topics where neither side makes sense...just for the sake of debating over something. I play devil's advocate too much. I offer advice that's not asked for. I offer good advise. I'm a great shoulder to cry on. I'll tell you to stop sniffling and get over it. I'll cry with you because I can feel your pain. I can laugh at myself and I can laugh at you. I'm not perfect. I'm a nice person, with an occasional mean streak. I can be stubborn. I can be overly emotional and irrational. I think with my heart and rarely my brain. I can be incedibly logical about illogical things. I've been known to tell a lie if I feel that it's needed. I never lie about the important stuff. I forget to eat and drink too much coffee. I love to cook. I hate shopping for clothes...but I love going shopping. I can be comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt. I can be comfortable in a strapless evening gown and 3 inch heels. I love to dance and have a sense of rhythem. I look amazing naked. I'm not shy. I enjoy good sex...I love the afterglow. I sing in the shower. I run when I'm drunk. I laugh when I'm happy and cry when I'm sad. Bambi's mother dying had me in hysterical tears. Gorey horror flicks make me laugh. I'm brash. I'm upfront. I'm in your face. If I don't like you, you'll know it. If I like you...you'll know it too. I'm picky about the guys I date. I believe that if there isn't a physical attraction, it can only be friends. If I don't find you attractive...but I find you interesting...I'll tell you. And hopefully you'll understand and still want to hang out. I like long rambling conversations. I like the moments of silence. I'm a complicated person. I'm incredibly simple. I am me.

It's amazing to me to read through the things I've written in the past. In some ways, I'm exactly the same person. And in others, I've changed so much it scares me. I wonder what other changes I will go through in my future.
