</a>
										<div>(7/15/07)

Today my roommate got out of the shower &amp; spotted me on his way into his room.

"Hold on!" I heard, as he disappeared back into the bathroom. About 5 seconds later he emerged with a pair of clippers and a mischievious look on his face. I IMMEDIATELY thought the man had gone momentarily insane!

I was trapped at the end of the hall with no where to escape. Yikes!

This is when I realize he may have every intension of using those clippers on me, but where the hell was he going to use them??!!

(Mind you, my roommate is a 50 something year old pastor! Yepp, I said it, PASTOR!)

"Come here," he said, "I noticed these yesterday."

This is about the time I see the clippers rising toward my face. AAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaHHHHHHHH!!!! Jack the Ripper has turned into Jack the Clipper! BBBzzzzz!!!

A few moments later the buzzing stops and my face is miraculously intact.

What, you may ask, just happened? I'll tell you what happened! I was the recipient of a random nose hair trimming!

How bizzare!</div>

<div>Far away a placid mirror of deep blue glass is pulled to and away from its boundaries.
The tides flowing with the moon.
Those white specs seen from afar travel without urgerncy across the face of the ocean blue.

Its when you take a closer look that you see the ragged fury of the goddess.
Her fingertips digging into the beach so that she can pull it into her.

as she is dangerous and cruel.</div>

<div>A family is at the dinner table. The son asks his father, "Dad, how many kinds of boobs are there?

The father, surprised, answers, "Well, son, there are three kinds of breasts.

In her 20s, a woman's breasts are like melons, round and firm.

In her 30s to 40s, they are like pears, still nice but hanging a bit.

After 50, they are like onions".

"Onions?"

"Yes, you see them and they make you cry."

This infuriated his wife and daughter so the daughter said, "Mum, how many kinds of 'willies' are there?"

The mother, surprised, smiles and answers, "Well dear, a man goes through three phases.

In his 20s, his willy is like an oak tree, mighty and hard.

In his 30s and 40s, it is like a birch, flexible but reliable.

After his 50s, it is like a Christmas tree".

"A Christmas tree?"

"Yes - dead from the root up and the balls are just for decoration."

<div>. ........of what?

The Last Day.............
. ........reminds me of school.
Always the day before a longer weekend, an extended vacation cleverly disguised as some holiday.

What that really the last day?
. If so, then why does this "last day" appear year after year, repeating the same pattern over and over?

I've lost count of how many "last days" I've had in my life
. and yet .
Today. Today really feels like the last day:
.............................in my comfort zone
.....................................under the safety of daddy's wing.

Hhmmm... ... ...

If today is the last day, then what lies between now and the first day?

Is the first day tomorrow?
. ^ .
. ^^ .
. I .
. I .
Is that the first day?? No...

I'm pretty sure it's not...

January 4th, my first day....
. ....of the rest of my life.</div>

Groans of a Twig House

<div>Snap! Pop! Creek!

Reminds me of twigs snapping beneath an unbearable weight.
They slowly settle, one by one…
The house groans.
The complete silence magnifies the sound.
While the occupants dream &amp; re-charge for the next day,
the beams cry out for relief.

Crack! Pip! Eerk!

The weight is pressing; always pressing…
Always down onto those beams.
“Keep up your strength!” I think,
“Don’t give up!
For if you do we will surely slip into a sleep with no end…"
So, it is the silence of the night that betrays the houses struggle.
Sounds that are finally audible,
Barely heard over the steady breathing of those within.

										<div>~*~*Somewhere in Central California*~*~

As fate would have it around the mid 1980’s the wait was over for those searching for some sign of the britty! Deep within the San Joaquin Valley of the State of California, USA, a family was welcoming a new addition; a baby girl. Now, the story gets a bit fuzzy from here, but the one thing that observers at the hospital can agree on is that they were certain that they had laid eyes on the first infant britty in almost 2000 years.
Years went by without another britty sighting until very recently. Now believed to be around 20 years old, the stories are back in full flurry! It is beginning to become clear that this may not be a myth at all. In fact I happened to run across a group, which went by the collective name of “Burners.” They claimed that not only had they seen the britty, but that it was not unusual to see her on a semi regular basis. They had lovingly decided to name her Itty.

Other reports include news of male britties. Though information about them is scarce, it is speculated that many male britties may not even know that they are a britty. Instead, they will masquerade through life using fictitious names and aliases.

Emotional Addiction

<div>When anyone hears the word addict the first thing that comes to mind is drugs. This is understandable because when an addict turns to this area there can be some HUGE negative consequences.
This is not what I want to talk about though.
I would like to discuss the growing problem of emotional addicts that plague our environment. You all know who they are: the drama queens, rage-rs, criers, basket cases, insanely happy manic maniacs, etc…

1.	Addiction:
a.	Compulsive physiological and psychological need for a habit-forming substance: a drug used in the treatment of heroin addiction.
b.	An instance of this: a person with multiple chemical addictions.
2.
a.	The condition of being habitually or compulsively occupied with or involved in something.
b.	An instance of this: had an addiction for fast cars.
I see emotional addiction where ever I go and I think I am more aware of my own behavior.

Like a drug being caught in an emotion can offer a feeling of euphoria even if the emotion is a negative one. Rage: Everyone feels this at some point but when someone creates situations that bring up this emotion or rushes to this for pleasure I think that this becomes a problem.
Blindingly, whatever is felt consumes the person and sweeps them up like a wave…

I point this out because I see many relationships (not just intimate ones) crumble under the stress of an emotional addiction.

Be aware of your feelings and your surroundings and remember who you are talking to. Take some time to look at what is going on and think…

My hope is to create awareness… Be kind, but do not forget who you are…

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/itty_britty/blog/152c4921-e9f9-4524-9d6f-e7574aef761e"> <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/0af/ecf/0afecf61-34db-434e-aba2-b1fe88313012.thumb" width="65" height="67" alt="" />
    </a>
										<div>Questions for Britty, by Sage

1. 2005: Do you feel that you made more progress or more mistakes in this year? Or are they both the same?
I feel that I definitely made more mistakes in 2005. (I won’t go into detail… not enough room to write it all), but I feel that 2006 is definitely shaping out to be a wonderful year with many more benefits than mistakes.

2. If you knew you would be financially stable (somehow) for the rest of your life, and you were offered the opportunity to live in a remote eco village in Chile today, would you do so? And what would you miss most about civilization?
Ideally I would go, but I think that if I was completely honest, I would not go. I have grown too accustomed to the everyday luxuries that we have here. Like electricity, running water, a grocery store. Yep, in a perfect world I would go.

3. Tell me about a 'bad date' experience you have had, and explain what made it so.
 	My worst date was gnarly!!
I had agreed to a lunch date w/ a very persistent man that would visit at work w/ flowers, gifts etc. I left from work and met him at a nice café. He was nice, and charming, UNTIL….
Ordering: I ordered a salad and his response, “You do eat, right?” (STRIKE 1)
During the meal: He asked about my how I groomed my “kitty kat.” Worse yet, it was only the second topic of conversation he brought up! (STRIKE 2)
After lunch: I got up to use the restroom and as I was leaving he replied, “You aren’t going to purge are you?” (STRIKE 3)
Needless to say, he did not get a second date, nor any response from any phone calls! EEeeewwww!!!

4. Have you ever had a lucid dream or think you may have had one? Do you often remember your dreams or do they rarely linger beyond awakening?
Absolutely!! I have had a pattern of lucid dreams lately…. I have even awakened from these dreams only to find out that I was in another dream… I couldn’t seem to wake up!! Talk about scary!! It’s funny though… Most of the time my dreams are of everyday life… Nothing too special nothing too scary, just everyday stuff (kinda boring, huh?)
I’ll tell you this, though. When I do get the really fun, &amp;lt;I’m pink, sitting on the ceiling, seeing carebears> dreams, they are quite a doozy!! (or was that the mushrooms??)
5. What sign are u? Do you feel like it fits you and how?
I am a Taurus…. And Hell Yea I think it fits… but more on that later… I have someone researching my sign more intimately…

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/itty_britty/blog/c824cab0-2328-4994-9aa2-045867eed764"> <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/57f/aba/57faba6a-092e-42bf-bcc3-1e3d6b67ca00.thumb" width="65" height="33" alt="" />
    </a>
										<div>THE GUIDELINES:

1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."

2. I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.

3. You will update your blog with the answers to the questions.

4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.

5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.
******************************************************

1. If you could choose one "bad habit" to indulge in without repercussion what would it be?
I would spend all day, every day spending time with my friends and family instead of going to work… I would use the “I’m sick” excuse to its fullest extent. Instead of going to work I would travel around the globe, experiencing new things, sharing new ideas, and meeting new people.

2. What’s the toughest decision you have ever had to make and did it go as expected?
I remember my sister’s dog got hurt really bad. At the time the dog was living with my mother because she had a large back yard and my sister was no where to be found (go figure!). My father had only cement as his backyard and it would not be suitable for the dog (it was a Rottweiler). My mother neglected to take the dog to the vet and the wound eventually abscessed and became VERY infected. To make a long story short, my mother abandoned the dog on my father’s door step because she would not pay for the vet bills. By that time the wound was so bad that we (my father and I) had to decide whether to try to save the dog or put her down. Unfortunately we chose to put her down. I still miss her to this day, but I feel it was the right decision.

3. What is your favorite time of Day and why?
I LOVE the time just after the sun sets, when the sky is still orange, but the night is cooling down after a long summer day. My body is finally waking from my heat induced stupor and now I am ready to bounce around and create my own heat.

4. Who would you most like to meet, have a chance to talk to, and why?
I would love to meet and shoot the shit with my mother when she was my age. I would love to hear her ideas for the future, how she viewed life, and what the hell she was thinking when she got with my dad! Talk about her ULTIMATE opposite!

5. What is your greatest accomplishment to date, and what would you most like to accomplish?
My greatest accomplishment to date is that I have made it this far w/o dying!! Hahaha! I am a HUGE risk taker and could’ve seen my end many times, but I guess it’s just not my time yet!
As far as what I would most love to accomplish, I would love to travel to every country and meet everyone! Ok, not really realistic but it would be fun trying!

<div>I saw this joke on Aaron's page and had to share with you all. Thank you Aaron once again for finding me and for asking me to be your friend! **blessings to you and everyone else that reads this**
And now to the funnies....

Two tall trees, a birch and a beech, are growing in the woods. A small tree begins to grow between them, and the beech says to the birch, "Is that a son of a beech or a son of a birch?" The birch says he cannot tell.
Just then a woodpecker lands on the sapling. The birch says, "Woodpecker, you are a tree expert. Can you tell if that is a son of a beech or a son of a birch?"
The woodpecker takes a taste of the small tree. He replies, "It is neither a son of a beech nor a son of a birch. It is, however, the best piece of ash I have ever put my pecker in." </div>

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/itty_britty/blog/65e11d3f-9a9e-43f8-ac61-4cd30c155fe3"> <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/139/d8b/139d8baf-5f93-48e3-b12c-50d44f32f935.thumb" width="52" height="78" alt="" />
    </a>
<div>For those of you that know me, then you already know that I spent an amazing weekend in Joshua Tree the weekend of the 20th… I could not have asked for a better place or experience. I had been emotionally and spiritually unbalanced for a few weeks before my trip. I have been struggling through some hard times lately. I’m not making as much money as I should, I had finals at school, and other “encounters” with those in this town that enforce the rules…. (don’t ask).
I was lucky to have met someone from tribe that invited me to LA to check out these beautiful wings that I had seen, and instead of picking up the wings I dove down the rabbit hole on an entirely new adventure. Upon arriving in LA I was greeted by one of the kindest and most beautiful souls around. The music on the trip felt as though it was hand picked to help deliver my soul back to its rightful equilibrium.
Once in Joshua Tree I was allowed to (almost) literally strip off my outer layer and bear my heart to the environment. I wore the most exquisite body paint for 2 days and got to feel the breeze glide against my body. I felt so free and alive. I picked up on the warmth and kindness around me and by the end of the festival I felt serenity so strong that I was afraid I might float away (because I was so spiritually high). I carried this positivism back with me to my home town of Fresno and have been able to share it with others that have come into contact with me.
At this point of my journey I am still centered but I feel tired. Those that live in Fresno are drawn to the light that I was shining, but instead of bringing their own light to share, I feel like I have been warming others with no reciprocation and I am tired. After I finish my writing I will sleep and re-energize so that I can begin tomorrow anew.
I am happy that I have brought love and good heartedness to my friends, but I think that Fresno needs a spiritual revamping. I would love to have a festival or event here in my home town. Until then I will do my best to stay positive and to spread the love.
**britty**

<div>So, with the rising gas costs and the ozone slowly being eaten away, i decided to get rid of my car... I'm thinking i should've thought this through a bit more.... Now its a bit tougher to get around, but i do end up spending more time w/ friends... (that's probably because they have to drive me there [wherever] or home hahaha) Anyways, i am now taking trains and bummin rides and i hope this small part of mine will benefit the earth and its inhabitants... I have also saved a shit load of money now that i don;t pay for insurance or gas.... Muahahahaha!! So you're welcome everybody that drives... One less competing car on the roads.... </div>
