This was a fantastic evening of dance. This was really a great show. Special guest instructor and dancer Mahisha and her troupe Alkarakset did a great job. I wish I could have taken the seminar because Mahisha is a very dynamic dancer and I could have learned some things from her. Solomne did a beautiful solo., There is something so gentle about the way she moved. The Alhambra troupe wowed us with a very diffrent routine at the end of the show. It was done to black light and swords. I sat up a little straighter and realized this was a diffrent look for Alhambra. This was a more tribal look. Other dancers included Nataj and her troupe Mirage, Amina, Noura, and the great Ergallis Kakias. He was fantastic !!!! He is amazing with his foot work and zills. With all of that, you have a entertainer. He was just great. The girls he pulled up to dance with, who ever you are, you were great to ! Conchi was beautiful and so very fabulous . Kira was awesome too. she did a traditional solo and then turned around and did a techno piece that was so orignal and fresh. I really liked Slyva and Robert, her husband. They did a ballroom dance piece that was just so romantic and inspirational. It was also very orignal. I would tell you about it..... but if you were there you would know about it. For those who didnt go, sorry maybe next year. :) I look forward to the Next Med Echoes. Each year there is something diffrent. What I like is that I dont have to drive a hundred miles to see a great show . Not that there is anything wrong with that, but its nice to have something close. So dont forget, the last Saturday in Feburary 2007. See you there !
